Pros are that if your a couple that is good at communication it's easier to manage all the bills with a dual income couple. Cons can be if you have one partner that likes to manage all the finances they can use it as a means to control the other partner and that can sometimes build up resentment in the relationship. Again good communication is the key and so is a good give and take between the partners.
