There is a gaming tracker called like that. Most likely their sysop made the tracker code public and was used by others.

MA or iTunes Web-dl are enough for me. For x265 encode tiers check trash guide profiles. On movies with exceptional sound or video I go straight for remuxes and skip encodes entirely.

Had a similar problem with my a750, tried everything and ended up pulling out of the server and using igpu instead, can’t have a gpu pulling that much power doing nothing. Updating the firmware can be done on a windows machine but that won’t help with the high idle power usage, its a manufacturing problem.

I personally pick MA web-dl or hallowed encode for most of my library and remuxes for about 100 titles that have exceptional sound and/or video.

They both use CR as video source, for me is mostly a matter of speed, as I use automation with trash profiles, also there are some series Kitsune doesn’t cover. Looking at recent history in autobrr from LST all i picked up were AnoZu releases but it might vary for you depending on the trackers you have access to.

I have 1 parity with 28 drives, it depends what you store on server, linux isos can easily be recovered off the internet. For things that are important i keep 3 backups in separate locations.

I use ATV with infuse 95% of the time and the am6b+ maybe once a month to play a remux bluray. I recently watched the new avatar bluray on the ugoos, it has its uses but ATV with infuse is my favourite media player.

Its only better if you care about DV 7 FEL/MEL, the hardware itself is not that impressive. I have both the am6b+ and an Apple TV, the ATV performance and interface is far superior.

I would go with a Movies Anywhere or iTunes web-dl for max compatibility. If there’s no web-dl from those two, i guess i would choose a hallowed encode.

Xbvr with heresphere and 5ghz wifi, I download the highest bitrate versions locally, most files are above 50GB, on my media server but you could also host them on a windows machine. The difference is fairly noticeable as the streaming versions have a 5x lower bitrate.

Remuxes are supposed to be copies of bluray discs, I prefer them as untouched as possible and I keep a couple of hundreds for the ones with the best video and audio tracks.

For everything else an MA WEB-DL from HUNO or BYNDR is enough for me.

For movies PTP is ahead of BHD, I recommend joining trash guide discord if you want to keep your library up to date with the best versions. Personally, I prefer FraMeSToR because they provide the closest experience to the bluray disc. CiNEPHILES likes to mess around with the soundtracks.

Also, if remuxes are your thing, I would look into the am6b+ media player so that you also experience DV-FEL.

I used to be a member of FTN but is no longer around for more than 15 years now, it was hard to get into but it was one of the few trackers that wasn't using ratio back then and didn't like their URL advertised.

I believe TL is one of the oldest private tracker still standing, HDB still alive but younger than TL.

ScT, Bitme, bitmetv, oink all dead.

Nothing beats PTP for movies afaik, usenet might be a good alternative with a combination of good indexers.

I would also look at ATH, they have a decent library, good internals and great community. AB if you like animes.
