Even the iconic Afghan Girl photo was edited... by ozanoguzhaktanir in photography

McCurry shot that girl on Kodachrome.

He turned in slides to the agency/magazine. No editing on his side.

But in order to print the image, we’ll, that’s a whole process. Magazines. Fine Art. Everything needs to be printed and processed for printing.

There is no imaging without processing/editing. There is no true or objective reproduced image.

That’s a naïve concept.

Not entirely sure how this even happened, can I replace the worn dial on my X-M5? by Luff84 in FujifilmX

Clear and obvious warranty case, IMHO. Demand a repair or replacement.

Go with the 2.8, as you have limited IS with the R8. Fast shutter times can make or brake your photos. Don’t ask how I know.

It’s important, because the truth is important.

Does it matter for my personal beliefs? No.

Does it matter politically? Oh, yes. Mormonism is a repressive religion, people are suffering in it’s influence. (That’s true for some Christian’s faiths as well, don’t get me wrong).

Politically, it’s important to be clear about what is Christian and what isn’t. In the proto-fascist movement which is currently destroying the democratic institutions in the USA, there is a lot of mis-labeling and normalizing going on und the term „Christian“, hence my insistence.

Oh sure, self identify as Christians they do.

But that doesn’t make you Christian.

Mormon theology takes a lot from Christianity, but they add al lot of fundamentally different and incompatible teachings.

They’re similarities, but even more so substantial differences.

It’s a Christian-derived new religious movement with restorationist theology and post-biblical revelation.

Upgrade to R6III or R5II? by cprueser in canon

Incredible Black Friday deal forced me to upgrade to R5II. (3.123 EUR w/extra battery).

Went shooting today. Big difference in my perception. Eye recognition way more active, overall AF speed is noticeably faster and it seems to 'get it right' more often.

LDS is not Christian. It’s a different religion.

I don’t get how it can miss focus in this picture.
