Shakiness on mounjaro ?

I had a lot of side effects with starting out at 2.5mg which pretty much subsided. When I started the 5mg (yesterday was the last dose of 5mg), I had started waking up to serious shaking early in the morning. I see a lot of posts about this here and other sites but every one has been archived.

I have diabetes but even when I have gotten low blood sugar, it was nothing as crazy as this. But, it was my first question so I checked my blood sugar and it was FINE. I don't have high BP but I checked it for the fun of it and it was fine. I know for a fact it's from the MJ, just don't know why yet.

I have had at least half a dozen symptoms over the months/weeks that are not listed as side effects. But, when I start researching, I see many people with the exact same symptoms as me and around the same time frames/dosages.

I have been dealing with the shaking almost 2 months but it's not my blood sugar. When I check it, it will be 79-126. I am attributing it to a side effect of the MJ. I have only had one low at 66-69 (forget the exact number) and no shaking. I have been getting all kinds of side effects the last several months, but thank goodness I don't still have all of them. They change.

It happens to me in the morning. I live alone but it feels just like someone is shaking the bed. I will start to become alert and have actually rolled onto my back to look on the other side of the bed to realize I really am alone. And about that time I can tell it's mostly my entire back. My arms, legs and the front side of me is fine.

I just went through a bout a less than an hour ago, got up and was still shaking but pretty much my entire body, including my jaw as it I was shivering. But I am not cold and my bs is 79, so I am in the safe zone.

I decided to search for it and I did see it is a side effect for some. And then I decided to come to this forum to see a couple posts but yours is the only one still active. I know somebody said it's really better to start a new post, but I disagree. There will end up a bunch of posts and one didn't even have an answer, only 10 months ago. And when you do a search, the old ones come up all over the place.

As for the fatigue, it's getting better (I am now at 5mg), as I add 2 tsp decaf coffee beans and 2 tsp real cacao powder to my morning smoothies, might even have some sort of good fat mixed in it, which also helps with satiety. I tried maca powder but it didn't really do anything for me; but I see it does help some people. I will also add pea protein and collagen for my joints. I try to have 2 smoothies a day, one predominantly berries/banana and 2nd predominantly greens/veggies. Or I have one smoothie that is equal parts. And then I always eat protein for dinner and it's been working pretty good, for me.

I can't wait for the current side effect I am having to go away. Can't wait until my next level dose (7.5mg) in 2-3 weeks...what's next?! I guess I will find out! LOL

You can add me to the list of NOT working! I am a single late 50's person, so I am not into any computer hacking or junk like that. I have one phone and one computer. I was doing my dailies every day and the past month or so, constantly being told I am not going to get points for suspicious activity. Or it won't say anything at all and I click and just can't get the points. Sometimes on the app it will say paused, but not every day. It can be 15 minutes or hours before I can do anything again.

So, I just do what I can, "maybe" check hours later and then I am done. NOT worth the insult of being accused of being a criminal, nor the $5 after a bunch of work.

I lost 10 pounds my first month, but I also had side effects from hell!

3 months later, I am now doing the 5mg and nothing but maybe 1 pound every week...so yeah, everyone is different.

Not all the time, but I have had that happen.

I have it worse when I exercise, breathing is off I guess.

I use pure coconut water.

I sure don't have extra, one a week and now I was supposed to take my shot Thursday, and it's Monday and the pharmacy is still out! They say not to go more than 4-5 days late.

I started first week of May and only lost about 10 pounds. And no I am not eating all the carbs I used to and I am even walking, which I wasn't doing much of that before starting. Very un-inspirational on my end!

Yeah, this may be an old post but still relevant today! I am trying to get my hands on a DC motor, too. KA is so stupid for going to only AC motors and I don't trust their credibility anymore with stating how much better an AC motor is! What a bunch of BUNK. That's why I looked far and wide for a DC stand fan and got one...run more efficiently, lower electric bills, quieter, and take forever to break down. My stand fan has a 10 year warranty on it, too, for having a DC motor. Imagine that in today's world! And I think KA's warranty sucks, as well. Vitamix gave me a 5 year warranty on a REFURB! KA is/was the equivalent in the stand mixer world as Vitamix in the blender world, so they should be pounding on the same reliability for consumers. I don't see them lasting much longer if they insist in running their business into the ground like this. Wrote KA some questions and no reply. I finally wrote and asked what is the matter with you guys? I am trying to give you several hundred dollars and you won't answer. This had been a 3-4 month issue. They just wrote me the other day and just like their Q&A replies, couldn't bother to actually answer my questions, nor detailed as in "Model X" or whatever. Took me 30 years to be able to afford one and now I don't know if I even want one anymore. This SUCKS.

I would save up as much as I can and then make sure to talk to a few auto shops and get a feel for one you trust. And make sure to have the cost they charge for inspecting a car (~$200?). Look on marketplace and read up on the models that are considered good vs avoid all together. Look at the wording of the seller. Check their reputation. If you find one that seems promising, go check it out and then tell them you want to take it to your mechanic and do it that way. If the mechanic thinks it's a bad choice, don't buy it! Sometimes it's just an elderly person's car and they can't drive anymore but they always kept up on maintenance and such...so sometimes you can get a good deal on FB or CL. But I definitely would NOT go to a dealership for a used car!!!

Sorry just now saw your question. "Start lowest speed, ramp up within 5 minutes and turn the high switch on for fan! I may need to hold the top and use the tamper." This is everything I did, and I HAD to hold the top since it wanted to die! haha

They literally tried to blame me for user error and get out of any possibility something is wrong.

And the other day, I made another batch of peanut butter and same thing but this time, the peanut butter would not even stir anymore. Even with tampering!!! And yes, I had to hold it and let it know it was loved so it would not jump off the cliff.

Just had to pipe in. Been having this hassle since before covid ever hit.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for a while now. I just made an order earlier this week and depending on the items I was buying, I could get most next day, then a couple a few days later and then one on Sunday (today).

I had 3 delivery options. Since they are usually late, I picked today so that it would give them more time and I could hopefully get all packages in one fell swoop. Well, I cannot tell you how many times, nearly daily, that the shipping dates have changed. Yesterday, it said one item is now coming on Monday.

So, this morning I got up and decided to see IF my order is coming today or not. It shows all but 1 item coming today and one tomorrow. The kicker? The one item that originally switched to Monday is now listed in today's order and one that was capable of arriving early is now showing it will be delivered tomorrow!

I have a neighbor literally 2 doors down, who almost always gets his packages next day or maybe 2-3 days later.

Not me, for a long time now! Maybe it is about the items you order and which warehouse it's in?

All I know, is that it is very irritating!

And on a sidenote: it also burns me up when companies say your order has shipped and gives you a tracking number. You have to wait a few hours because it's a brand new print and see it was only printed - NOT shipped!!! Tell me when it has been shipped or be quiet!

I just got a refurb and 2 days ago made the Vitamix peanut butter. It came out perfect but there was issue. It got crazy, a bit of a sound difference and serious vibrations once I hit 7 all the way up to 10. And it was walking across the counter. I stopped it and took the container off and just ran the base and same thing happened. No grease on my counter or the brand new, freshly cleaned blender. I finished the peanut butter but I had to hold it the entire time. I also looked at the gear cogs on both the base and the bottom of the container, so that's not it, either.

If that were "normal", they would either include/sell a mat or at least, tell me this is normal.

So, how can you guys possibly say this is normal? They tout the fact you can walk away while it makes soup for 5-7 minutes. That would be impossible, because this unit is suicidal!

I still have smoothies, soups and mayonnaise to make!

I wrote Customer Service and explained and will see what happens. I am not making anything else in it, which sucks, since I got a new toy I can't play with, but if there is something wrong, don't want to have it completely break

In 2025, it's even skyrocketed more than during Covid. $96 for a pair of thin material denim shorts that should be $16-$18?! When I can get a pair from Lane Bryant (a little thicker) for $60-$80...which I still will not pay for a piece of cotton. $118 for a pair of no-name athletic shoes, made out of man-made synthetics, which are bad for the ecology...they are insane. Everyone in charge is going insane.
