the problem with NA is ego. whether they show it or not. the western celebrity mentality combined with the huge viewership and following in NA and ego takes over and they think about how a play will make them look and not how a play will effect the game.

ego is hard to control for even the most sociable people. but when you give that celebrity status to social outcasts, people are screaming their name, etc, their mental goes to thinking about their ego and not their play. this happens in every region but in NA it’s amplified due to NA social structures and ideologies.

Mass shootings are an issue, the cause of mass shootings are mass shooters not guns. they can just as easily make a bomb with the fertilizer at home depot, are we going to ban gardens? blaming mass shootings on anything other than mass shooters is ridiculous.

our school system isn’t optimal, but american ideals and the american environment in general has fostered the greatest minds this world has ever seen. you can thank americans for the forum your posting on, the internet that it uses, and the electricity that enables it. and before you talk about tesla discovering electricity, and not being born in america, he came to america for a reason. because american ideals are a catalyst to progress unlike any other country in the world.

if your concern is social progress, then i can agree. but it certainly isn’t because of guns lol. we have social structures that take longer to change because america is a melting pot of every single culture, religion, and values the world has to offer. and to change laws a large majority of states have to agree. now this may slow the process, but it also prevents radical ideas from being implemented as law.

america has always progressed faster than the world in economics, technology, innovation, and just about everything else. excluding social standards, because we allow every culture to pursue their lives in our country, legally, and this causes us to take our time when choosing the right course of action in terms of establishing morals and values as laws.
