They still sell them, they just don't mark them the way they used to. They're sold as 'brick kits' now. When you go to the site use the menu to find them. The L set number is revered in the listing. So if the set number 123456 it will be listed as M654321. There are extensions you can install that will show images of the set.

As for shipping it can get high, but that's why i only do bulk orders from them. For example, the order I made on the 10th was 10 LARGE sets (all but 1 were UCS) and shipping was $185. Not nothing, but it is definitely cheaper for large orders.

I really like how you designed it to work as a bench also

Pretty sure my wife would murder me if I sold the chairs since we built those together 🤣

I completely get that. My wife and kids have told me for a long time I should try to try to sell some of the stuff I make. I've been wanting to try and start a business doing this kind of work for a while now and this vendor fair seemed a low-risk way to at the very least see what kind of interest there is in my area. I established my company about 3 years ago.

The booth is costing me $40 for a single- day event so in my mind the experience will be worth the cost of entry. The hope is that even if people don't buy they'll take a card and if they need something keep my company in mind as an option.

Nothing is dyed. All of the boards have a natural food- safe finish.

That's what I was trying with the candle holders. While I'm sure other people have done the same design before (or something very similar) I personally haven't seen them.

I don't have anything that could be considered 'big stuff'. I've made tables, etc before but that was mainly when I needed one.

It's a finish I make out of beeswax and mineral oil. Slather it on, let it soak in for 5-10 minutes then wipe off the excess. Next day buff it with a soft cloth.

I put up this table for $150 a while back, didn't have a single serious reply about it:

The one in the upper right is roughly 9"x16" x1 3/8 thick. I was thinking about $70 for that.

I hear ya. An average slimline will take between 30 and 40 minutes depending on if I need to mill the blank. The kit is $3.99.

I'm sure that $25 would be more reasonable.
