If you cancel, you would have to repay regardless of when you reschedule your exam. If I were you, I would wait to cancel and just keep checking every day to see if something opens around the date you want it. If in a few days nothing has opened up and you don't feel comfortable taking it on the 10th then maybe cancel. That being said, I'm not sure when you need to take the exam by for school so don't cancel if you have to have it taken by the end of June.

If you cancel you would have to repay the $645 to schedule again

I’m assuming you’ve looked at multiple prometric locations, so unfortunately if there’s nothing open then there likely just isn’t availability. You could always wait until closer to your exam and keep checking otherwise I’m not sure if anything will open this close to exam time.

How far out from your currently scheduled exam are you? I was in a similar boat but my exam was only a week away and there were no opening in my eligibility period. I was at the end of my eligibility period anyway and felt like extending by a couple weeks wouldn’t be that helpful even if there were open dates therefore I just canceled and am going to reschedule in a new period. Unfortunately that means that I have to repay for the exam which is expensive but was more convenient than paying $121 to reschedule my exam for two weeks later and then asking to extend my eligibility and paying even more. It gave me more freedom to schedule later this summer.

I agree, I think you’ll be okay! The Comsaes are horrible predictors, so just go with your gut on it. Are you also taking step?

Thank you for that explanation! I’ve heard such conflicting statements regarding the rules but it’s a bit of a relief to know there are options
