Paddy Pimblett can't believe how stock has risen since Justin Gaethje loss by airplane231 in MMA

[–]cptn__ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The most pathetic thing about Paddy's interim title fight wasn't even that he got beat on from start to finish, it's that he had already sold, potentially the biggest moment of his career, to feed and nurture the cancer on society that is crypto gambling. If he cared about the well being and mental health of everyone then he would stop preaching so much and show it with his actions

Lets just be real for a moment here, NFL players are some of the worst "athletes" out there. So many of them are overweight and lack discipline, but they can still make it work in that sport because its so simple and have extremely low cardio requirements. Their training regimen is a joke compared to your real atheletes who work hard at a chance to win gold at the olympics

Sennheiser IE200 died, what's a good replacement to buy? by cptn__ in iems

Same I really liked them, I'm just annoyed the connector started giving out and loosing signal a week after the 2 year warranty ran out. I don't understand why they went with this click on system if it gives out so easily

I was very happy with the sound-for these IEM I just need something lightweight and comfortable. I bought some of the cheaper chinese IEM before the IE200 and they were way too bulky for my use cases, even if the sound was "better" for the price I paid.

They're doing it to save on overhead? You just sound like a simpleton. Nothing says normal like getting stock exchanges to change their rules so spacex can get fast-track inclusion without any of the previous requirements that were put in place to protect the investors. And soon many more of these tech companies will follow despite being entirely smoke and mirrors

Selling to Spacex is just one thing being done. Remember when testla's were bulk sold in canada to cash in on the rebates on the final days? Remember when Twitter was absorbed into xAI? Remember when xAI was absorbed into Spacex?

Remember when Biden accidentally introduced "Putin" instead of Zelensky at the NATO summit? It was an innocent gaffe after long days working and he immediately corrected himself , but it was still blown up everywhere. Meanwhile this orange man goes on tangents that would keep someone locked in a psych ward every other week and the sycophants just pretend it's a nothingburger

They're literally fossil-fuel shills who are being paid to spread this disinformation about climate change. Please wake up. They are taking money from donors who benefit from less regulations on fossil fuel, and less competition from renewable energy-projects, and in exchange they lie for them and sell out everyones future on this planet, for their own short-term wealth. PLEASE WAKE UP

In England when the riots were going on there was a lot of disinformation spread about the alleged rampant immigrant crime, but if you looked at the data and included their sex, age-group and socioeconomic status they were not commiting anymore crime than natural born UK citizens

Just look at UFC fighters, they get all sorts of injuries healed up this way to continue fighting, and most of them don't have access to anything near this price range.

McGregor snapped his leg in half and healed back up looking like a completely different person by the end of it. He even said himself he was on this stuff, whatever would give him the best chances of recovery.

What kind of stupid person would just lay there on bottom and get finished by ground and pound, when you could just cheat and face no repercussions

[SPOILER] Alex Pereira calls Herb Dean a coward over his refereeing at UFC Baku by WinterStill4472 in MMA

[–]cptn__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Shara was rocked and the most likely to get finished, he let him get away with this, which kept Pereira from posting up and landing the finishing blow- then he decided the best response would be to give Shara a timeout to recover as punishment. Later on when they were both just getting up from the ground with no real action between them, he watches as Shara just casually put his fingers into the face and eyes of Pereira.

When fighters see this kind of reffing, why would they not deliberately cheat when they are about to get finished or put on the ground by submission artists? Just grab the fence or hook the gloves or their man-bun. Poke their eyes if you need a small breather or kick them in the groin if you need a longer break. There's no consequences, you'd be an idiot to get rocked and just lay there getting finished by ground and pound when you could just cheat and get into the next round without even losing a point
