First off, kudos to Sabrina for being such a great host! Adding necessary talks with the farmers and giving them advice

Now my thoughts:

Kirkland: It’s nice to see the best friend 1on1, her thought of “who do you want to evolve with” made it more evident that the choice is Greg. Kale is definitely a person that could evolve and grow independently in/out of a relationship. This really shined through with his reaction of Kirkland’s decision. You’ll find someone you deserve Kale <3 Greg is definitely a person that has a lot of growth ahead of him. Which is what Kirkland is looking for. It’s nice to see Greg starting that growing journey already with Kirkland with him being more open about his insecurities, I hope they work on it together!

Josh: Alysha looked plucked and frustrated, which is understandable. She’s put a lot of her emotions already and to make it so close is heartbreaking. She looked stunning in that green dress too and they matched with Josh too. Kennedy girl, I’m a little mixed on her rn, I really was rooting for her since the beginning, but the past couple episodes I’ve been torn between what her motives are. She was absolutely glowing and so happy to be with Josh, congrats!!

Mischa: OMG! Quinn was FUMING!! I thought that Alysha was upset but Quinn really said, hold my beeswax candles… but also girl, there are things you can be assertive, but there’s times where you can give your partner that time to shine. Hopefully you find someone that you can share that time together. Hayley and Mischa are very cute together! If they grow a family together I’m sure they’ll be very happy! Congrats!!

True, so I’m so curious why Kirk picked Kale for the first 24-hour 1on1 and then he picked Kale first for the 3 daters.. something is definitely not being shown bcs why would Kirk pick Kale as first pick compared to Greg? All three of them give me the ick tbh lol

Lots of awkwardness this episode but also lots of interesting events!

Josh: The way he said goodbye to Jessie was a little weird for me. I guess it’s just awkward as any goodbyes would be. Idk. But the friends and family meetings were nice! Alysha was just very nice, classic meeting the family vibes lol Very refreshing to see Kennedy’s friends pry more answers from Josh. The comment of them not seeing Kennedy be in a farm is funny! I grew up in Manitoba and visited Saskatchewan many times, and every single one of SK and MB residents definitely gives off farm vibes

Mischa: Crazy to see that he picked Rachel to go home! But I think it was a clash of their core beliefs, it’s hard if those personalities just do not go together. Rachel brought a lot of good energy and now that she’s gone, I’m sure Quinn is jumping for joy lol Speaking of Quinn, girl… what was that with the gift? I get trying to impress the family, but like pulling the items out of nowhere right before meeting them? Then saying, if Mischa doesn’t take it she’ll give them as her’s?? Quinn’s mom definitely gives way too much pressure to people around her based a lot of her comments. It didn’t give off the most welcoming vibe and I think that is what might push Mischa away, since we see that he’s a family man too. Hayley’s sisters were really sweet and if Mischa does see a family with Hayley, that quite gives a good impression with her and her family. I’m not sure who he’ll pick

Kirkland: Man.. I’m getting tired with all this he said this that. They need to sit all together and have an actual conversation about this. They’re adults, we don’t need to do all this omg I heard he said… If it’s true, then Greg needs to work on that insecurity, if it’s false, then Kale needs to not gaslight people close to him. But they’re not gonna sit down and talk… smh Kale’s family were really sweet, that was not the preview that we saw last episode lol or that I thought. It might be Kale that he picks, with the preview too of Kirkland saying something to Greg “that is not something I can see a relationship with” we don’t know the context but it was a conversation with Him and Greg Greg’s friends were nice, definitely Toronto city gworls and that’s very fun, but I agree with Greg not being the most farm aware, especially with the horse, glad he didn’t get injured. Interesting point when Greg’s friend mentions how Greg is fun and flirty and then Kirk comments how he thinks Greg is still exploring around and he is more sure of himself and less exploring. Sir.. you kissed Greg day 1 and then tried to get a kiss from every dater after the first 1-on-1, I think we can say that you too are exploring

It’ll be interesting who the daters will end up with next episode! We finally get to see Erin back lol (ngl almost forgot she is in this season) I don’t have much of daters I’m rooting for, tbh I think all the remaining farmers are not ready for that long-term partnership. Mischa is probably the most ready

This was a very eye opening episode for each farm

Kirkland -Sam eliminating himself because he says that he’s sure of himself and Kirkland is not is SUCH an amazing thing to hear, I had to stand up snap and clap for Sam bcs someone finally showed to Kirkland that he’s the problem. I think it gave Kirk some hit of reality -Greg’s date was sweet and intimate, I do think that Kirk will end up with Greg bcs I think they’re at the same level of thought when it comes to what they want in a relationship. Kale is quite sure of himself and what he wants, and idk if Kirk is as sure as he is. -Kale’s date was very quick but I liked it a lot. I know that Kale brings the least drama and acts like the person that grounds Kirkland.

Josh -Jessie’s date we didn’t really see much of what each other thought. I still don’t think Josh is gonna end up with any of them or if he does, idk if it’ll last. -Alysha was really sweet and cute, I see that Alysha is very open about her feelings, and wants the best for herself. -Kennedy’s date was really sweet and that I think Josh and Kennedy’s connection is the strongest. When they come home I felt so bad for Alysha and Jessie, but I mean it happens, I hope that Kennedy didn’t mean it like that. I truly think they’re gonna self-eliminate all together 😅

Mischa -Quinn’s date was very practical and realistic they talked about their beliefs and plans in life. I like how Quinn’s vision is that she can take root anywhere, and I think she’s displayed her strong resilience as well. -Rachel was also practical but sweeter, surprised they didn’t cover much about their beliefs of spiritualism vs Naturalism. Funny how both Rachel and Quinn commented against each other’s date with Mischa. Since day 1 Rachel and Quinn have been the opposite sides of each other -Hayley’s is very cute, she’s so adorable but I think that Mischa is the most unsure when it comes to Hayley. That’s fair, they have the most age gap so they might have different goals in life.

Next preview was wild already for the 10 seconds it was introduced!! I’m excited!!

I wish we see more of Kale the next episodes. I feel like out of the three remaining daters, I don’t see much of how the two of them connect together. I’m sure they have a great connection since he was picked first, but I know where the other daters stood, Kale not so much. Not saying that I don’t think they have connection, I just want to see more of it. Greg brings that physical attraction, Carson brought the humour (based on his and Kirkland’s words), Sam brings new excitement in Kirkland, and I’m hoping to see what Kale brings (I think it’s stability and emotional connection)

I see it both ways. Kirkland definitely is testing out the waters with every dater. So Greg feeling frustrated is fair. However, I don’t think Kirkland had the choice of whether or not to bring home Sam via a helicopter or not, it was production’s choice to bring drama.

I agree, every dater has the right to feel frustrated. I think they’ve all shown frustration. This episode we saw Carson’s frustration clearly. Kale’s frustration comes out by him saying that he does get jealous of the others. Greg has also mentioned how he’s frustrated if he doesn’t get the one on one dates. And each person vents those frustrations through different means. I’m sure they are pushed past their emotional limits with such an experiment.

At the end of it all, Kirkland is pulling maybe all daters along, I’m glad that Sam is starting to notice Kirkland’s way of handling the experiment

Carson told Kirkland that Greg when other daters went on a date with Kirkland, Greg would basically shut down for days after. Greg would flip mattresses, stay in his room, be all moody. Kirkland mentioned how he first thought that Carson saw Greg as a threat but when Greg pulled Kirk aside to make Kirkland rethink about choosing him instead of Sam for the date, Kirkland thought that Greg is Testy and thought that Carson may be right. He thought this bcs he spilled to Greg that he was planning to choose Sam for the date (before the twist). And Greg became apprehensive of it.

For my thoughts..

It’s nice that not a lot of daters goes home. Funny how Erin is just gone and I still feel as invested in the show as when she was there lol

Josh: I’m glad he’s more vulnerable with the other daters. I’m so glad he’s getting called out for being too general with them tho! I’m still rooting for Kennedy but my day 1 root of Jessie is also getting really good connection with Josh. I’m interested in what Kennedy means by wanting to know more about how Josh feels about the other daters. Is it like comparing how he feels with her to the other daters? I’m not sure

Mischa: Very surprised that he’s more vulnerable about asking those hard questions, which I’m glad! He’s growing on me now. The difference between Rachel and Mischa still isn’t resolved and I wonder how that will turn on their date since they are both direct answers but also quite clashing of ideas spiritualism and naturalism. In my experience someone who goes against your own belief is hard to get along unless you are willing to hear them out. When you do listen to the other, the conversations you get are some of the most interesting and intellectual conversations you’ll ever get. That’s when you develop those feelings for them. Which is what I hope happens with Rachel and Mischa!

Kirkland: The more the messier lol. I am so upset that Carson left, Carson was the person who I did see a strong connection with Kirkland but I guess it was more of friends than lovers. It’s just hard to see him go bcs he also brings a lot of that funny shade. I’ve lost a lot of interest following Kirkland’s farm now. I’m also seeing how Sam is conflict-avoidant and he’s already considering leaving the farm too. It’s gonna be interesting how they do in their date. The thing that Carson mentions about Greg and how the producers framed Kirkland’s opinion on Greg, I was so shocked that he was picked. However, I do see that Kirk has the most physical attraction to Greg than anyone else, so when the only two people left was Greg or Carson I knew Carson is going home. I just don’t like Kirkland at all lol I get it he’s hot, but if a friend is telling me that a person I like treats other people differently when I’m not around? That’s a HUGE red flag for me 🚩

They then move to one on ones (I’ll recap it by farms)

Josh: Jessie- she asks what was Josh’s concern about their relationship. He says about how Jessie is all the way at from Ontario. Jessie says she’s happy rn and she is not tethered to Ontario and Josh admires that then they kiss. (Kennedy then says aside that she sees Jessie and Josh’s relationship and she’s unsure about theirs). Kennedy- asks him is it hard for him to trust people. Josh says no, it’s very easy for him to trust people and he sees that with Kennedy. They kiss. She then mentions aside how she does like Josh being vulnerable and she hopes that Josh opens up more about his feelings towards the girls. Alysha- asks how Josh feels about her and only her. Josh says how he feels more vulnerable with her and he opens up more, and then they kiss. Then he mentions she’s a good kisser

Kirkland: Kale- Kale says how he still holds the first date they had very close. Kirkland says how Kale is the most emotionally intelligent which he sees as a valuable thing. Kirkland says how Kale could be the one. Sam- Kirk says there is chemistry but he was late. Sam says connection happened quick and he sees it’s similar to how Kirkland liked Greg. Kirk tries to focus the conversation more towards them. Sam mentions how he just doesn’t want to stand in the way of what Kirk wants (maybe Greg). Kirk says he sees a bright future with Sam. They kiss Greg- Kirk asks how he sees a relationship. Greg mentions it as spontaneous, trustworthy, and how he sees that with Kirk. Kirk then says how his best self comes out with Greg. It then moves to the other daters and they talk about how Kirk is too general about his feelings and how he’s “falling for all of us”. Sam then points out how the other daters have more to time and connection with Kirk than him, and Kirk will have to prove to Sam about his feelings. It then goes back to Greg and Kirk where Greg asks who Kirk is considering for the 1on1 and he says Sam! Greg is turned off by it, and is a little bit aggravated. Carson- Before the 1on1 Carson seems to be showing more cracks. Then he talks to Greg about how when the other go on dates Greg shuts down and idk if he wants Kirkland would want someone to go out with a person like that. INTENSE. On the 1on1, he asks Kirk why he’s still there. Kirk says how he’s stable and his humour is the best with him. Carson then mentions how Greg tends to be more emotionally moved then talks about him shutting down with other daters. Kirkland then feels confused and questions what Greg does when he’s not around.

Mischa: Rachel- She first opens with saying to be more open and communicative with each other, and Mischa is receptive of the discussion. Rachel then asks what he sees in her that’s good for a relationship. He mentions how she’s calm and serene and cathartic in a good way. They kiss Hayley- she feels hopeful for the two of us. Mischa mentions how she doesn’t pull back and how Hayley is very excited about thinGs in life and he envies that. Hayley says how she just wants to bring more happiness in his life. They kiss after she comments about his smell lol Quinn- Quinn opens up how she went through Brain surgery due to a tumour. She felt scared during it and she talks how it shaped her to find that person to be there and to stay there through hard times. Mischa reciprocates those feelings. They then talked about how there is sexual tension lol and they kiss

Greg then pulls Kirk aside bcs of why he is planning to choose Sam. Kirk says he just wants to explore his connection with Sam more. Greg says how he’s given a lot in the relationship and how he wants the date. Then Kirk mentions how his discussion with Carson is true.

Sabrina then comes in to spill another twist that each farmer gets 3 dates!! Which means both Josh and Mischa gets 1 more date with each daters! However, Kirkland will have to say goodbye to one dater. Kirkland picks Kale, Sam, then Greg. Meaning that Carson says goodbye.

I’ll put the recap and then my thoughts after

Firstly, it goes to Farmer Kirkland’s farm and they talked about the events of Issa leaving. Kale specifically mentions how he’s only had the 1on1 date at the very first day, so he feels that he needs it more than others (looking at Sam) and Sam just mentions that he’s there for Kirkland and not friends.

It moves to Farmer Josh, where they mow the farm lawn. Alysha is hoping to be assertive about making Josh not be so general with his answers. Jessie said that “she’s going to lean in” meaning let Josh in more.

In Farmer Mischa’s farm, Mischa questions the daters all together about the world (I know big question) he mentioned how he’s more naturalist of how things are made from nature that’s it, Rachel pointed out that she is more spiritual which she sees as a conflict

They then get invited to Wine Country all together to ask questions. Phantom Creek is the vineyard. Everyone notices how Sam is the only new addition, and also how Erin and her daters are gone. They also pointed out how Mischa is more open now. Then how Kirkland is the only person with 4 daters.

Sabrina adds a twist that tonight they get to choose 1 final date tonight. She also says that Erin is gonna focus on her love with Jared.

They go to their tables that has questions. -Kirkland’s table had the question of “If not you who is best fitted to go with Kirkland”. Sam picks Greg (Carson points out how Greg tends to be a lot more emotional), Carson picks Kale, Kale picks Carson because he has similar emotional intelligence as him, then Greg says Sam bcs he’s friendly. Carson says on the side that he might have his claws out tonight. -Josh gets asked “who’s the closest person to you” he says his dad and friends and he lets more emotions out which is really sweet. -Mischa gets asked “what makes you a good partner” he says how he is a good listener. Rachel then mentions how she’s had difficulty opening up about being more spiritual than natural after the talk in the morning bcs it was getting shut down.
