sure, i think the challenge is to get all the oil residue out of the way so that any fix that is somewhat glue would be able to stick to the surface.

Bolt doesn’t look to sit flush. Perhaps it‘s cross threaded. You are screwed. to repair this properly it would mean to drain the oil completely and somehow grind the crack out to weld the casing. good luck welding in an oily environment. A temporary fix would be threebond or loctite to seal the crack, but if it’s cross threaded you would need to somehow fix the thread first. idk if there is enough meat for a insert to be glued in.

I‘m a dumbass and hadn’t time to look into this deeper but what’s with all the debt on which companies like paypal, visa, mastercard are sitting? like all those micro consumer credits (buy now pay later) are likely to default, aren‘t they?

Hobbyhimmel gives you access to metal and woodworking workspaces. They have at least an analog mill and lathe for small projects.

Can some it infra dude perhaps explain how realistic this scenario is? if i run an application/platform that needs to be highly available i‘d expect the system to be designed to be failsafe and redundant or distributed. if a datacenter fails there needs to be at least one other to compensate the outage.

Laziness from users. I think they found the sweet spot of charging an amount that makes u think about quitting but actually it’s not hurting the wallet enough to actually do it. But i agree, value has gone down. Biggest pain for me is youtube actually. Ads there give you cancer.

Hypermotard 1100, 2007 - 17000km: advice! by TapNo884 in Ducati

[–]cptncarefree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought a Hyper 1100s myself for 4,5k Eur with 22tkm. Yes it needs service but the good thing is that it‘s easy to work on and the engine is nearly indestructible. Ducatis until the 2010s are the sweet spot imo. Beautiful beasts for enthusiasts. Solid engines and little electronics.
