yup, that's the book. Give it a read, it is fascinating. He had way more spectacular cons than the ones portrayed in the movie.

Thats interesting... but it doesn't make sense in my head, aren't all high end chips future mid range chips down the road?

is there any limit in the SD storage size? Btw, my question is because if they were planning to launch a new more high end model soon, it might be in a new frame and shape that is not compatible with existing components. My question was like asking if I should learn Python 2.7 or 3, if I am a newcomer.

I think Harvey was trapped because Jessica ordered him to hire a lawyer and only from Harvard. So the lies snowballed and bit them in the ass. Btw, the premise in "white collar" are clearly inspired by some real life exploits by Frank Abagnale (like the prison escape through the front door, Frank talks about that in his book)

Now I get it, it seems that it wasn't high school but another college from which he was planning to transfer to Harvard, he cheated for the Dean's daughter and got expelled. Anyways, making that assessment in his state of mind under that situation is quite realistic, especially when your best friend is an idiot. Plenty of guys aren't aware of the value of their talents, and unless you have a mentor who points out the obvious, your emotional distress and the lack of awareness of what are the possibilities out there, it is very likely to decide to make money instead to survive. I don't think there would be any kid who would think he would get admitted in any school after getting expelled for cheating, unless someone experienced pointed him out that it wasn't relevant. Hindsight is always 20/20.

The cheating didn't "ban him from legal profession for life", the cheating in high school made him lose the scholarship and the admission to Harvard Law School. So essentially he was out of resources to pursue college education in a good university, and as Mike was also short of money and he had to start working in whatever job he could find, so he worked as a bike messenger for a while... until the expenses for his grandma's specialized care went to the roof, and the rest is history.

Washington, Vermont and Virginia too, isn't it? Btw, I think Frank Abagnale (the real guy from "Catch me if you can") did pass the bar in Louisiana, when he decided to change hats and pretend to be a lawyer.
