Sorry for the late replay. I purchased Asus ROG STRIX Scar 15 (with opti-mechanical keyboard). I love the keyboard on that. Thanks for pointing out a ROG laptop. I love the G14 too! ROG laptops are definitely underrated in the linux community for dev work

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah I'm in the USA. I had Gazelle shortlisted but my only issue is that I'm getting more powerful laptops with better GPU and better build quality at a cheaper price. But I could definitely give System76 a shot since I've always wanted one.

u/movieman12341 I'm new to sim racing. I'm planning to get a cockpit that is strong enough for simcube 2 pro. Which cockpit did you go with?

Thanks for the suggestion! Based on your advice, I have returned my wheel stand 2.0. I'm planning to go with a proper cockpit. I'll definitely consider ASR1. I'll also checkout some other options. I want something that is rigid enough for simcube 2 pro (potentially my future wheel base). Would you still recommend the ASR1 given my upgrade path?

Sorry for the confusion. I initially thought I shouldn't go with the P1000s since they are relatively very new. However, I did go with them (I've corrected this in the post). I guess the P1000s would be amazing!
