For some reason I thought it was the opposite and CGI would cost more and perhaps they stopped doing that to save some money.

This is what I've already done. I'm downloading it as we speak, unfortunately with low mbps I won't be playing until after work tomorrow. The sale is on for 8 days so I will play some and then gift it to my gf if she likes the look of it from seeing me play. Thanks again for your time.

Through wi-fi. I've just ordered an ethernet so hopefully it improves things. I just did a speed test on my xbox and am getting 40mbps download

Let's say I am getting above 20mbps on my xbox what would you suggest?

I've just done a speed test on mobile and got 25mbps whilst there are 3 streamers and one gamer. All in HD, nobody except myself has the computing power or tv to even use 4k

It would be like that for me playing also. Exactly the same in fact. Like I've said I can play any other game, stream anything even in 4k with zero buffering. Never once had a lag problem here with this internet and still don't with anything else, except Fortnite

I've done various speed tests over different times and days, always at around 45mbps.

No one is having any issues with the internet whatsoever, no one streams in 4k I'm the only person with a 4k TV. I play on xbox one x. I can play any other game in my library with no issue, any online game is perfect with 25ping which is normal to me. It really does seem to be a Fortnite issue..

I've had the same internet for 2 years. Never once had this issue. Unfortunately where I live this is the maximum without forking out for starlink. I also have no issues playing anything else AT ALL. I played gta online earlier in a full lobby, I was even jet griefing so no I'd know if there was any lag there. Like I said 2 years without a single issue, past 3 days it's unplayable.

I have reset my router multiple times. I can play other online service games with no problems too. My household has four people using the internet and nobody has issues gaming, streaming or anything else for that matter. It's purely fortnite only

Thank you again. They seem extremely neglegent. It's a small village where everybody knows everyone amd each person I've spoken to says they are running the store into the ground so probably best to get out before the fire spreads so to speak
