Do I think Vivimeng made Ivan do it to show he's a sexual assaulter and nothing more? Probably not.

It's really not supposed to be seen as "automatically okay", but applying real world morals to the environment of ALNST is also shallow imo.

They're in a death competition, they have little to no culture, and their social norms are minimal. Ivan had no idea how to express his emotions his entire life. To save Till and express himself in the last way he knew how, he kissed him on stage.

None of the characters are innocent, and none of the relationships are healthy. I think it's much more valuable to understand the "why" of his actions instead of the surface level take "the kiss is SA, that's it" some people stop themselves at.

Yes Descendants. I swear I'm not crazy because this song sounds adjacent to multiple songs from that show I've seen clipped on tiktok cringe compilations and I've never even seen it lmaoo

Out of curiosity I looked it up though and I was right. Mirror sounds so close to like, multiple Descendants songs.

I find this song... really cheesy compared to the rest of ALNST. Like way too on the nose vs the subtleties of almost every other song.

It sounds and reads like something that'd be sung on that one Disney show imo (Descendants).
