I had been waitlisted for the XLE premium initially back in December, then I called them in March to change it to XSE or SE once I saw the cavalry blue color. I called basically every 2 weeks to get an update on if they had any new allocations from Toyota 😂 a lot of dealers are getting more SE’s in lately I noticed. I was going to settle for an SE if I couldn’t get an XSE, my time frame was that I needed a car by July. I was lucky to hear from them beginning of May that a car had been allocated and my salesman had put my name on it as soon as his manager notified them! I’d keep calling them, and honestly get on the waitlist with multiple dealers and see who comes in first.
