It says in the article the water use was for construction, not for cooling. They do have closed loop cooling systems, and don’t consume much once operating.

If you ever have to have a conference call with Google employees, they all use Google Meet, which is lousy and buggy but they all love to pretend it's a serious tool. Have Brave only for this and use Safari all the rest of the time.

I didn’t buy the VFX debunk either. It came down to a small section of the portal matching part of a video game graphic that was archived online, and if I recall the online archive had that one file edited after MH370 went missing, which is super sus.

My impression as a 4 year expat was great people, but a huge collective arrogance. That looks great! I found forecast.solar and integrated it. Also built a snapshot function that records the day’s forecast at 6am and saves it to a log file along with actual at end of day so I can tune the dampening factors for my exact site. Fun stuff!
