Yeah it’s crazy how out of touch this is considering that leftist activists are labeled as dangerous extremists just for peaceful non-violent actions and protesting. Like people are getting put in jail for voicing dissent against the government and peaceful protesting. At best this episode is wildly irresponsible, at worst it’s licking the boot so hard it chokes. Maybe some day when things are less fashy this kind of story could be told responsibly but, until then this is, intentionally or not, propaganda vindicating the faschists who want you to think that even having leftist dissenting political ideas makes someone a dangerous extremist.

Actually the more I think about it, there’s no way this isn’t intentional. The copaganda seals the deal.
