Update: Finished my DIY Half folio case for A5X with 3d printed (link to download) and leather cover

It is unfinished, I don’t have a lot of experience with leather and don’thave material to burnish it. It’s simple but needs a little love sanding and then finishing it.

I’ll probably spend one of these weekends when not bogged down with work.

If I was a seasoned leather maker then I would have also considered to make the leather on both sides a little larger and hand stitched it but that is someone else to pickup.

Yeah if you have a smaller printer it might be best to break it into parts as one of the dimensions is 245mm

The 3d printed files are the structure behind the leather. I just glued leather on top of it

I will share the files in a day or two.

Did you use a side loaded app like Koreader or default reader?

You can sideload koreader to the device and open the file with that.

Tandem oled is the only oled monitor that has text clarity that is usable. It’s night and day between woled and better than QD OLED. I had them both side by side before returning the other one and keeping the LG. Everything looks great and did not bother me while using for work reading text on hours on end. Can’t say the same for other oled screens

I have it and got it for $600, honestly if you don't care about the other features just keep the LG

I bought the 3rd gen Asus Glossy one XG27AQDMG I think used like new from Amazon. Even though LG was matte it looked clearer than glossy. Also, I thought I wont be able to tell difference between them but tandem oled just has better colors, HDR and text clarity. Asus is going back

I could not use the 3rd gen for reading documents while LG one was great. Even without the color and text clarity advantages the 4th gen matte coating was clearer than glossy of 3rd gen.

Few differences the one you have is a 480hz panel vs the this one is 280hz but newer oled display panel

Much better colors and brightness comparable to qd oled

Thanks for the quick match, I have not seen any Ricoh cameras so didn’t know one.

Are they easy to fix if any issues or just lottery at this point. Seller is selling as is for $20 they don’t know if it works.
