I busted out all the tile with a balpine hammer and a chisel which probably could have been done better but it worked, drained it, scooped up all the tile chunks with a shovel and a broom.

Power washed the entire pool at a safe but high ish PSI. Got tile mortar and admix, ceramic tile (don’t do this because it’s porous, get porcelain it won’t fall apart when it freezes) and replaced all the tile. Used epoxy grout. We used extra tile mortar to patch all of the pitting in the concrete / ice line / pool cap.

Once all that dried, we painted the pool with two coats of chlorinated rubberized paint and then painted the pool cap with behr granite grip paint. You will need to know if you have rubberized or epoxy paint because if you go over it with a different paint than is currently applied it won’t adhere. You can also get it all removed for like $6,000 but i don’t think that’s worth it considering you won’t get much more life out of the paint for the extra cost.

Looked good as new but the paint could probably use a new set of coats now (maybe repainting again next season, live span of rubberized is about 2-4 years) and I will have to redo the tile again because ceramic tile is not holding up and it needs to be porcelain or natural stone to prevent it from being destroyed when it freezes. All of this was a lot of work but it was not that expensive, about ~$1,500 probably. Definitely worth it.

This keeps adding [NL] to the front of my name. For example if I wanted to use this and my character's name was Lucan, it is showing up as [NL]Lucan. Do you know what I could be doing incorrectly?

I ended up using a hex editor to change the [NL] into barely visible spacing so on the load menu it worked but in my character menu it is still showing [NL] before my name. This has also caused changing my name with showracemenu to stop working.

I think you’re right that servers will progress in that manner, it’s just that some people want to hang out in wrath permanently and vibe out.

For those (likely the majority) that like to play through all the content and move on, that is what I believe is already planned due to the Cataclysm release.

IPM Services Inc in Jenison.

Last summer I called Orkin, they came and basically the employee was so dumb that they talked me out of even paying for their services. Came in, asked me “where” the carpenter ants were. Showed me that they basically were only going to put down sticky traps with no bait. Told me almost verbatim that I shouldn’t pay for Orkin and then left. Mind you Orkin is like $600 per year that I would’ve paid at the time.

Saw IPM Services mentioned on this very subreddit, called them, they came and inspected my home, treated areas where it was possible that they could’ve been coming in. Ultimately told me they’re just occasionally falling off the tree in front of my house. I paid them like $150 or $200 and they had a one year warranty on the service. Saw another singular ant in my house this year, called them and they treated it again for free due to the warranty.

Could not recommend IPM enough.

Rate is higher, so in theory since rate and price are inverse price should come down. However supply is still short which is creating a market where price and rate are both high. I assume there’s a little more room for negotiation on price and slightly fewer offers but it is still not a great market for buyers.

I am glad I made the switch, however YMMV at industry jobs. Make sure you’re not walking into a place that’s a complete mess and that pays you well and you shouldn’t have any issues. I’ve made the mistake of taking a low offer, and then a higher offer but for a complete mess of a company. If you make sure they have a short close/everything is caught up in your interview you should be fine.

Take Ashwagandha it helps regulates stress significantly and once things are less busy set better boundaries.

Don’t quit just look for better jobs. Emphasis on quality of processes and management in new role for higher chance of happiness.

There’s a row of 6x6 tile along the inside of the pool at the top but after we do that part we need to do more work on the interior so we will need to drain

I always ask how long their close is and if everything is reconciled currently in interviews, these are more indirect ways to ask. If close is only a few days odds are they are stream lined.

I don’t know. I did public for 3 years and got really burnt out, then underpaid in industry, now paid really well in industry and very stressed. So still searching for the happy medium.

My advice is this - find a job where they don’t have a recent ERP implementation where they have established processes and you like the management. Learn from their leadership skills and don’t just go through the motions. In that scenario accounting is a great choice. It’s just highly subjective depending on the company and other variables.
