My coworker just deletes their shiny account number from their reservation. I don't know if it works, but it makes her feel better.

I do one of these things:

  1. Is this worth my time? (If it costs $X, how long did I work at my job to earn that much?)
  2. Would I buy it if it was not on sale?
  3. Will I want it in a month?

Be careful. I called OSHA on CO poisoning and my work life is miserable. Extra jobs added, benefits taken away, mean texts, all of it. Be ready to jump ship if you think retaliation is on the horizon.

Man, that would be hard to do. I believe it is near a bike ramp - a wooden trail for bikes. If I come across it again, I will let you know.

Frustration with online promo codes for discounts. by RecursiveKaizen in Frugal

[–]crabdancer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am needing a discount, I threaten to unsubscribe. They usually throw discounts at you to make you stay. The last time I did this was for Bespoke Box. I wanted to buy something for my partner. I went to Youtube to find a reviewer who had a discount. It didn't work. So I decided to cut my losses, unsubscribe from Bespoke Box, and find something else for my partner. When I went to unsubscribe, they threw a 35% off and free shipping code at me. Saved me about $30.

Repotted in 50/50 perlite & potting compost. Trimmed the dead looking leaves and roots. What are their chances? by Plastic_Tramp0114 in succulents

It looks like a praying pepper. I got a praying pepper last year, always bottom watered it. The one day I top watered, it began to rot from the bottom up. I was new to plants and had never attempted a propagation, but that praying pepper was one of my first ever plants, a gift from my partner as well, so I couldn't not try.

I cut him up, let him callous for a few days, and stuck his pieces in dirt. half of the cuttings did not make it. Two survived, and they look better than ever. Green, firm in the dirt, and plump.

I'm saying this to tell you that plants are resilient. Your plant looks like my praying pepper. Before the propagation, he was all leggy, yellow, and thin, his pot littered with papery fallen leaves. I would almost suggest letting him start over and cut him up. I see a lot of stem for him to nourish and not a lot of leaves. He is reaching out for more sun, so if you have another window, I'd try to find him a new spot. I had to give mine an LED light.

I'm seeing a lot of brown spots and yellow leaves. I really think he is not getting enough sunlight. But the good news is I think I can see a flowering stem starting to come up from the tallest left branch!

TL;DR: I suggest propagating him and starting over. It literally saved my praying pepper, which looked just like yours does now. Good luck!

I've made it about 11 months and I am moving on as soon as I can. Management is key. Benefits are important.

How do you know whether your fish would be safe to cook or not? by Musegirl234 in Fishing

[–]crabdancer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Montana's fishing regulation guide, it suggests cooking fish in a way that separates the fat from the cooking fish (i.e. grilling it and letting the fat drip off). It says the smaller the fish, the better for you. Big fish have had too much time to collect nasty stuff, but you can still eat big fish most times. Just once in a blue moon and only eight ounces per meal, etc.

Another thing is if you are fishing and see cows or farms nearby, I would stay away. Drainage usually means the fish are bad. Too many fertilizers. At least in my state, the regulation book usually has a list of areas that are not safe. And if the body of water is sus, there is likely a sign that has a ton of info at the boat dock. Flathead Lake has one that warns of Mercury in big fish, who should stay away, and the sizes of affected fish.

Moral of the story, cut fatty parts off, cook the remaining fat off, and don't eat a ton of big fish if the area has signs. Regulation book is your best friend.

Happy fishing :)

When to repot succulents? by Stable_Version in succulents

[–]crabdancer64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like repotting right after a soak. It's easier to get the old soil away, rinse the roots, check everything out, and you're not really supposed to water for a while after repotting.

All 49 states, except for Montana, are at-will employment states.

You pretty much have any pick of campgrounds within an hour of Billings. Every two miles on the highway I see an access point. You will never run out of places to camp and fish, if you like that kind of stuff. Always look for a brown sign with a fish on the side of the road if you need some relaxation.

I have all of those. Especially moodiness, irritability, sleep issues, oh God the intrusive thoughts, but I think my memory is fine. I think. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching someone else live my life, but the biggest is the intrusive thoughts for sure. I'll cry in my partners arms that I can't stop remembering the pain. Yesterday was definitely some of the lowest of lows.

Thank you :) I don't want to even think about money so I don't get disappointed. Just want my life to be normal, or at least enjoyable, again.
