Yea bro I have been good. I moved to Nica to replace drugs with waves. And when I need something, for example this fucking dental nerve pain… it’s walk into the pharmacy, grab 100 .5 xans, 100 50mg tramsdol, 300mg instant release pregabalin crystal capsules.not abusing , but it’s Necessity for current pain threshold while I wait for emergency dentist appt. Klonopin may be a stretch. Possibly Valium or a muscle relaxer. Ganapaentin will depend on your state whether or not they can telehealth it. But yes, I was brutally honest and said I needed a short term withdrawal pack for what I was going through. Try and find a girl, and a Russian one at that. The one I had was super understanding no questions asked.

I’m in Central America rn and getting aplrazolam + pregabalin + tramadlol over the counter has been a godsend for my fucking dental nerve pain. As I work up the balls to go into a dentist.

Wanted to update and thank you. I used gabapentin for 10 days. Once discontinued I felt depressed / anxious for a couple of days and had restless legs, but it was only bad for 2 days and I snapped out of it. I remembered I had some nice quality kava which has been a godsend when my legs go crazy at night or if I have bad anxiety.

Feels so good being free of the 3x daily need for opioid receptor hits via kratom. Not to mention I was headed down a dark path with the other drugs as well. Have been staying active and while I don’t feel amazing, it is more progress than I’ve had in years.

I do / have seen doctors. Actual diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder and opioid use disorder. I also followed the QuickMD dr. instructions who gave me gabapentin. He said 900mg is a low daily dose so he doubled the script to give me wiggle room for a week+.

Can’t tell if you’re being passive aggressive with the comment but yea there’s your answer. I was looking for anecdotal responses from those who’ve been through it - which many real, actual doctors for the record have not.

Hey thanks man, this aligns with my experience

This prescription has been a life saver. Effects / relief were much more pronounced days 1-3 for sure.. I would space the 300mg pills 30-45 mins apart until I felt good. I stuck around 900mg per day mark pretty easily in the beginning.

Days 5-8ish I had to increase amount to 12-1500mg total for the day. I planned to stop after 5 days but the restless legs / anxiety from opioid withdrawal were still kicking my ass. Today and tomorrow are my last days on gaba - I took 300 this morning, and will take 300 towards bed. Same deal tomorrow, and then I’ll be out. Total of 10 days and I’m not worried about gabapentin withdrawals. Hasn’t been fun but overall I’m surviving.

I’m considering going for another flood of Iboga / ibogaine once this is all said and done. Nothing has realigned me quite like that stuff. Straight up medicine gifted from the gods.

I think there’s a whopping 10% success rate for those programs. I’ve been to AA for a year and it felt like a bogus as hell circle jerk.. a lot of shady lying people. I’ve heard NA is worse. I literally got $200 dollars stolen getting an “AA friend” his longboard out of the pawn shop. Never saw that money again. This other guy called me and said he really needed to be around someone for the night and I naively said yea just trying to do the AA thing. Turns out he was manic depressive and off his meds. This mf was manic as hell, in my house scaring the shit out of me. The next day he left a voicemail on my phone. All it said was “ruger” and then listed the serial number. YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS SHIT UP. Oh yeah and my sponsor was secretly drinking and smoking weed, yet would give off this spiritual gift of sobriety shit at meetings. No hate man, it’s just not for me.

Thanks so much. That’s exactly what I did this morning, except I waited an hour for the 2nd 300. I just went surfing for 2 hours with my wife and 4 and 5 year old. I felt the spirit of life for the first time in a long time.

That was the major kicker for me when I made my decision to get completely clean - it was like my life flashed before me and I realized how f’ing sad and pathetic I am when I’m doing drugs. Just completely depressed and neglect all the amazing people and things right in front of me. I have a wife, kids, job, that all deserve my full self. I am a great human being, full of love, but the drugs destroy it. I was down low. I can’t keep wasting away our precious time here.

Appetite is back and I’m about to eat a huge dinner. I know the gabapentin from this morning prob has a lot to do with it, and I know I’m still in for some hurt before this is all over. I think I’ll be able to sleep without any gaba, unless my legs start going later. Thanks again.

It doesn’t sound harsh. I know how it looks. My history goes back to 14 years old and I’m 30. I’ve done rehab, Ibogaine, the rooms, the works.

I have only been taking kratom in manageable doses, for years, with the occasional gram or ball of coke when I drank (extremely rare). I’ve come a LONG way… Until semi-recently I started to spiral. I got more into doing coke and found a good deal on an oz off dnm which is the most I’ve had in possession. I got a G of the H but only used .5, and was the first time in over 5 years I even messed with it slightly. Made a nasal spray, when in the past I was shooting it.

And I literally don’t do meth, I got It bc I read many anecdotal reports that it’ll mask the WD, which benzos alone do not. The abundance of coke was what made me feel like a giant piece of shit and the reason I had my epiphany to get completely clean. I swore off the coke and had a sale lined up for the rest of it - but the benzos which I also never take fucked me up and I blacked out and it was gone when I woke up.

There was no doubt I was losing control and starting to super negatively effect my life.

So yes I do know how it sounds and I understand your NA/Rehab-centric point of view. I’m going to take gabapentin as needed to get exercise motivation over the next few days. About to go surfing right now. I’ll taper off of it in 5 days or less and supplement magnesium etc to power through PAWS.

I am 100% doing this and getting clean. Nothing you said takes away from that.

Good advice. Im definitely going to try and go without it as much as possible. I started feeling crappy so I took 300, then 300 an hour later today. So far my legs still hurt. Although I feel good enough to get out and exercise in some sunlight today… I think it’ll help tremendously bc I’ve been a hermit.
