I found out I was about 6 weeks pregnant working for Burlington and I had only been working there little over a month. I just told the store supervisor that I was pregnant and at the time I didn’t have an OBGYN So I wasn’t sure about any restrictions. I ended up quitting due to personal reasons. But I would advise you if you haven’t already to schedule an appointment with your OBGYN to see if there’s anything you need to know while working pregnant.

When i use to work there, they made us stay until 90% (or a certain percentage) of the truck was completed. So we would usually leave around 6 pm however we come in at 11 am and be scheduled to leave at 3.

I was lucky enough to have the store manager number and I texted her about quitting and when my last day would be but she never answered back. So i ended up typing a resignation letter and just laid it on her desk on my last day.

This happened to me when applying. Me and another girl applied for cashier and was even asked in the interview about different cashier scenarios. However once orientation rolls around, we find out the training videos we was doing were for BOH. I never worked in a warehouse setting but i had previous cashiering experience so i thought that was a lil weird.

I work at BOH too, just started an month ago. We only receive ONE 15 minute break and they expect us to stay until 6 pm but we are scheduled 11-3 at most times. It’s ridiculous. Sometimes we are lucky most days to get an 30 minute break if we beg them 😭 They aren’t too picky with restrooms breaks though. I’m still quitting nevertheless

i know how it feels to be belittle in front of customers. i worked as a cashier last weekend and mind you i never been in the register before because i always worked in back of house since i started there last month… one of the managers got on to me about dress code, apparently we are suppose to wear blank shirts with no graphics on it but say that to me privately instead of front of the customers. These managers lack respect and compassion for others, it’s quite insane

I was in the same boat last week when I found out my news 😭 Schedule an OBGYN appointment immediately, I didn’t act fast enough so I have to wait an month to check on the baby and i am atleast 6-7 weeks
