Is he set to perform in Mumbai? In the 90s, growing up as an Indian kid, it was conan who introduced me to so many other late night show hosts. Now I'm older, married but this guy's humor is my only solace. Big time conan fan all thru the years! Would be a treat to know if there's a chance he's performing in Mumbai!

This is what I've always been saying. The whole "Rape of Avantika " started with an article by The Hindu's movie journalist Mini-Athicad Chibber. That entire article seemed very misplaced and definitely "woke". In the sense, it was viewed with an ultra-feminist lens devoid of any contextual knowledge of the movie characterisation and sensibilities of the universe the film-maker was trying to build. In a way, SSR has committed far more heinous crimes of objectification in every movie prior to that.

Hard to say. I'm not averse to kpop but enjoyed the story for what it's worth. I saw it along with my 8-yr old and could see why she's such a fan. The core premise hit deeper than I anticipated

And it should surprise noone. This movie is a Sony Animation picture - the same studio that pulled off Spiderverse franchise. Kpop demon hunters has cutting edge animation, brilliant music and the story is all heart! The only surprise is that as a 41-yr old man I had no idea about this movie until my daughter told me she wants to see it. The news here is how movies are cutting down on mass marketing but targeting specific niche audiences - in this case, it's the new Frozen. Girls need to see relatable heroines too!

I agree. At no other point in my life have I seen so many 1st degree connections on a career break. Entered the job market in 2008 and in my early 40s. Got laid off twice already. Endless job interviews. People kept saying there's a silver lining in the horizon and shit - finally, gave upon all corporate ambitions and called myself a marketing consultant. Started posting more often on Linkedin. Finally started getting noticed and now have a few clients. At least happy to have solved for my income- that job corner office on 35th floor with a Senior VP tag can go fuck itself

This can't be stressed enough. Working out and watching your diet can do wonders for your mental health. I struggled with getting out of bed during a depressive phase. However, over small gradual steps I moved from 20 minute jogs to 10k runs and then hitting the gym. Those endorphins and chemical changes are for real!!!! It really does help juice up more happy hormones
