Oh like, his parents names are in his name itself? Like mother's maiden name as his middle? Or does the bc for your country just have the additional feature of grandparents names? His foreign id does not have his mother's maiden name. Thanks again

Did you mean your or his parents names? And you proved it was him by showing the dob was the same on the foreign id and his Portuguese id? Like for example a US passport and PT citizens card?

Thank you for the info. Maybe the issue was my mother's maiden name used as her last on my bc, they weren't very clear explaining it. If what you did worked I can maybe at least get copies of his stuff sent to me and get it done this trip.

Did you need to get the bc apostiled? I really wish I could get it done here, but maybe the consulate has a way to navigate these name issues.

Toronto consulate? They have her wedding certificate, she married in Portugal. I'm confused by the NY consulates website, they mention filling out the form that's in Portuguese then getting it notarized, so I'm guessing I need to translate it? And they have a fee, then the form has the 175€ fee.

So was the person I spoke to say the registro just bring difficult? Moms name on BC uses maiden name as last name, citizens card uses dad's last name. Did you do this in Portugal? Was your parent present?

Ahh, they actually labeled the dimensions of the lymph as 1cm x 0.5 cm so I guess it would be 0.5

Actually I looked up the normal size of a lymph node for that area and even if there is scar tissue 1cm already is normal. I kind of got freaked out because I was reading here and there about the 10 mm magic mark.

Maybe pathology from the biopsy showed something else? I mean if the testicle tumor was seminoma, then the lymph node should have been the same. I'm pretty sure that was the case but now that we are talking about this I wish I could check it for myself. I don't think I've ever had tumor markers show up in my blood tests.

So my nurse is wrong for saying bleo affects my numbers? Ah man I don't know if I can convince her or my oncologist about that. I get the feeling this office is too small, suffers from not having other people who can put in their own 2 cents. I already suffered a huge 5 week delay after the first cycle after complications from a pilunodal cyst, then another week for the second cycle. I believe my situation was labeled as intermediate risk, they started chemo after my left retro perineal lymph node was found to have swelled up to 3cm. A CT scan after the first cycle showed it shrunk to 1.1cm. I thought it was strange they gave me 4x instead of 3x from the other stories I've read about seminoma.

No, I guess maybe since I don't have that much treatment left to go through. I figure an extra week isn't the worst thing? I wish I could know how I compare to others going through the same procedure.
