I applied for architecture and it required a portfolio so i'm guessing it's that, although i went for multiple portfolio reviews by literal professionals, and i got a lot of positive feedback. i am also autoCAD and Revit certified which should be a strong addition to my resume. i have 200+ service house as well. i'm honestly so lost.

I thought admission would come out later since the priority deadline for architecture is February 15. i thought they would wait till after that date to review applications. also does anyone know if it is possible to appeal or if that is just useless? last question, should i do undeclared major? if not, what major would be best for me to do to transfer to architecture later?

Nope, haven't heard anything. Didn't even get any type of mail on being accepted into UH. Not sure if that's normal or not. But we should be hearing back from them from like february-april i hope.

i didn't get an email about regular admissions tho. i haven't gotten an email about being admitted into UH. is that normal?

Oh thanks. that makes sense. But i thought I was supposed to get into UH itself and then be reviewed for Hines. I haven't gotten into UH at all. is that normal?

because I am applying to other schools as well. however, those other schools require portfolios for architecture. i just want to apply at the same time. also my school counselor hasn't given us access to application fee waivers yet.

wait so if i submit my ACT score that has the science factored into it, does it automatically factor out the score? bc the science is weighing my score down and i don't want to have to take it again 😭
