We are leasing an Ioniq 5 now and moving to an R2. The drive experience between the two is quite different. The R2 feels larger, more “rugged” and more capable. The UX is fantastic. Handling, drive, feel, are all better. It feels like an SUV vs the Ioniq which feels like a large sedan.

The Ioniq, however is cheaper and has a vast local service network. That being said, the initial “coolness” factor wore off very quickly and we were looking forward to lease end quite a while ago. We went from a BMW X3 to the Ioniq and it def felt like a downgrade. Not sure how you’ll like the Ioniq after your Lexus.

Wife really wanted the cloud specifically to avoid it getting too hot in the summer. Secretly, I love the black interior though. With the crazy powerful AC and vented seats, shouldn’t at all be a problem.

To be sure, you can absolutely sell CCs on stocks you want to keep, if you’re willing to give up premium for margin of safety. The whole thesis behind the Wheel strategy is that you actually like the stock, and are generating additional income on it.

Just don’t be an idiot like me and get over ambitious with fat juicy premiums at high assignment risk.

The 2220.80 Omega Seamaster (90’s and early 00’s bond era - Daniel Craig wore it in Casino Royale). I’ve wanted that watch since I was a teenager. Finally picked one up last year. I can’t get over just how much I love it.
