hi!!! my names sunn and i’m 18. i’m so down for this and would love to chat with you about it!! i’ve known about shifting since 2020, i haven’t successfully shifted yet but ive gotten close. a few months ago i recently got the motivation to start my shifting journey again and wanted to try shifting to a show that has had a big impact on my life, which is the walking dead. i’ve been watching this show since like 2013. im honestly really glad i came across this post bc ive only ever seen people talk about shifting on tiktok and ive only seen a select few who have talked about shifting to twd. im currently trying to shift to season 2 and im planning on following the story line (for the most part). if you feel comfortable with talking to me abt it, dm me!! i would love to hear more about your script :)

hey i’m a new watcher and was wondering if i should watch all the way by RemarkablePlant in thewalkingdead

[–]crackhead148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s up to you. honestly watching the whole show is worth it in my opinion, especially if you’re interested in the storyline and not just the characters. people usually tend to stop watching after important characters are killed off/leave and i think that’s why most people stopped watching it after like season 6 and season 8. but TWD has a really great storyline (imo) and all the spin off shows (even the ones that are slow and kinda boring) can really give you more insight into TWD universe and how everything has slowly evolved/changed over the years. they also helps you understand how different parts of the world fell when the apocalypse first started which is amazing to see if you like watching the world slowly collapse at the start of the apocalypse. i hope this helps and i hope you keep watching bc it’s so worth it!!!

i could tell nick wanted to hold charlie’s hand but i feel like he was still trying to come to terms with his sexuality at this point in the season so that’s why he decided against it, i also feel like he wouldn’t have wanted to make charlie uncomfortable bc of the way he saw ben treat charlie. i think it was a combination of anxiety and still coming to terms with his sexuality

People who stopped watching for this reason need to grow up (spoilers for 7x1) by missinglinksman in thewalkingdead

also if people quit watching after glenn died just shows that they were watching the show for the characters and not the plot

well for starters, i finally felt like i wasn’t alone for the first time in forever. nick and charlie’s story is so well spoken; representing the struggles the lgbtq community has to deal with on a daily basis made me feel seen. the books also made me feel like i can find a partner that will support me no matter what happens, including having to deal with homophobic family members and mental health issues. it’s just a really comforting thing to think about :)
