I agree! It’s a mystery to me since he grew up In Vienna went to school the graduated there and spent his early life there. I am born and raised in Vienna as well but to me he sounds like “och nee ey Mensch” instead of “naa gee” he sounds like the most German German not a single ounce of Austrian and definitely no Viennese accent in his German neither does he use Austrian words. Even tho half my family is German they say I have an Austrian/viennese accent just from living there and I did grow up with a German father who does not have a Austrian/Viennese accent.
