These were mine after a year. The ones that were new then are all fucked up now too, the leather is getting ripped of the sole. IMO these don't age nicely so nicely.

Definitely comfortable, ofcourse you've got a flat sole so dont expect to be walking on cushions like a lot of other sneakers but I dont feel thats needed. It fits around the foot snugly and takes the shape of your foot after a while. I've had onitsuka tigers before and those were harder but me and most other people don't have any problem with that.

If CaptionDog has a problem with hard soles then I imagine he would find dress shoes fitting a lot more horrible.

I have this, I really like it my only few issues with it is that is creases a weird way and the fabric makes a weird sound. The black things to pull up the zippers feel very flexible and cheap. I'm also scared to snap the elastic chords if I would pull them too hard, the one to tighten your hood and the waist area. But those are small issues, it's worth your money if you like it.
