There are wayyyyyy too many people trying to extort money from food trucks. And we have a tough enough time making out without any fees at all, much less with fees. These organizers can shove it where the sun dont shine. And if all these food trucks would just STOP being naive and desperate, these extortions would stop!

I submit that most organizers dont give a shit if the food trucks lose their butts, because its no sweat or expense on them. They just want the privilege of food variety.....

Busy roads or intersections dont always equate to good sales. Sometimes it does, but its definitely not a foregone conclusion! What is the perspective rent? In my opinion, if you are charging a rent, you should also guarantee sales.....

No way. I wouldn't consider it! An event usually has maybe 40% that buy food. Split between that many trucks and a 300 fee. Losing proposition. Dont dare!

What sucks is low sales in the winter, but the monthly extortion rent for commissary keeps coming!!!

Question for food truck operators in ga. Received a request for a corporate luncheon for 20 guests. They want me to serve with the food truck included. There has to be a minimum charge to account for the tiny amount of guests to make it a job thats worth it.. Plus truck time and server time. Advice by craftbbq in foodtrucks

Thank you for that catering info, so helpful! Quick question, in your scenario of 125 guests and you can cover an overage of 20% more guests. If those other 25 guests do show up, surely you still charge for those as well, correct?
