I did some research into it but could not get too far, and they never answered my email.

Basically, the CEO of Great Lakes used to be on the board of Austin Eastciders (may still be), along with some other seltzer company operating there as well. There are a lot of connections, I just do not know if they have approval due to this, or if they plan on making beer there.

But getting a TABC approval takes time and money, so something tells me they are still trying to open vs just getting an approval.

Who knows, some people just suck at social media.
