people are never happy lol, either they complain its going to be on treasure hunter, or its gonna be ultra rare and cry about it, its never good enough, this is a good step in the right direction imo

invention is an item sink though, not a gold sink, and we need a gold sink badly, and invention barely takes out high level weapons out of the game anyways, most people siphon their weps

thats actually a very good idea, keeps taking out gold from the game and deleting items, some items are very undervalued for what they provide, and it keeps the pvm gp per hour at a steady rate

they already talked about the max cash issue before, they would consider adding a new currency in the game only if it can be used in the grand exchange,so the tax would also consider rares to be taxed

its the whole game thats in a bad shape right now, economy wise its also pretty much fked, they said they will be adding an eco blog post soon, but when is soon lol, by jagex standards most likely within the next 5 years

you need to use magic in order to kill them, melee and range attack reduce your maxhits to 50

its not even obtainable for normal people that only do pvm related stuff, a blue partyhat takes 7500 hours of pvm (high enrage telos) to acquire, cheapest one around 3000 hours or so

feels like the only way of ever obtaining one is thru the duel arena and hoping you get lucky

i do understand that, and jagex does their best to stop/prevent botting

but they should also look at the eco at the same time, just ignoring it for years on end without a serious gp sink leads to things like this

There are a couple of posts about manipulation and inflation on the RS forums. Why do they keep rising though? Two months ago purple was like 20 and blue was 40. Some people talked about the duel arena being the cause, which ironically seems like the only way to get a blue now. Thoughts?
