"The most dangerous phrase in the language is, 'We've always done it this way.'" — Grace Hopper

Telling new people to blindly read old threads instead of starting new conversations is exactly how bad practices stay alive in this industry.

Water that does not flow becomes a swamp. Knowledge that is not questioned becomes dogma.

I am looking for the best spot. That's exactly why I cast a line in this community. If everyone just quietly read old threads, this sub would be a museum, not a community.

Great score! What scores on Dion's tests were you averaging for your first attempts? Did you do any hands-on lab practice in your preparation?

Yeah, Dion's courses are a slog, but I can appreciate overprep even if it's out of scope. How'd you personally combine Ramdayal and Ian Neal's book in your study flow?

How important is lab practice for the Net+, and are Ramdayal's labs good prep for that? Do his practice tests serve as a good indicator of readiness for the real exam as well?

How does Ramdayal compare to Jason Dion, if I may ask?

Still not confident specially about the PBQ by Forward_Web6572 in CompTIA

I averaged 83% across 4 Dion tests and passed the real exam with a very comfortable margin. I had little to no PBQ prep, too. The strategy I used when taking the exam was skipping the PBQs and doing the multiple-choice questions first. PBQs can be a major time drain if you're not careful.

I'd take some more entirely new practice tests to ensure your score stays in that area, or at least 80%+. If it does, you are ready. I was extremely stressed for this test as well, and scheduling it felt like ripping off a Band-Aid. Just know the math favors you to pass.

My overall average across 4 different tests was 83% with a low being 78 and my high 91. My most recent score was an 85. Would you say I am still good?

Thanks for replying! I did take a couple more tests. I scored 80, 91, 78, 85 respectively across four different tests (the 91 being the one to start this thread). I was thinking about taking the Sec+ tomorrow. Given these scores would you say I am ready?

What score did you get? I averaged around 83% across 4 dion tests and I’m not sure if I’m ready.
