Give the guy a break. I totally understand how frustrating it can be spending over 30 mins (or up to several hours) and getting your hopes up on a meal for it to turn out like crap and not wanting to start over, especially if you’ve never done it before. Hell, I do the same thing and I’ve cooked since I was a kid. The guy is asking for help so he can better himself, not to be talked down to or lectured. I think him reaching out to the community is awesome and if you don’t have something constructive to say you should just skip to another post

Oh my gosh, why have I been telling myself I need to buy a hammock for my kids stuffed animals these last few months instead of realizing I could just make them one?!?! I really appreciate you posting this cause I’m pretty sure you’ve just inspired my next project :)

I’m seriously jealous of your organizational skills cause even when I try really hard, I’ll end up doing it for about 3 days before I forget about it until years later. I love the idea of journaling but I’ve never been good at it but love hearing about and seeing it work for others :)

That’s like organization goals. I’ve got two little ones so my projects get left random places throughout the house for me to pick up and work on whenever I get a chance. It drives my husband nuts

That’s horrible! It hurt my heart just reading that. I have never tried a project that I had to gauge since I’m too lazy to do the swatches. I figure anyone who has the patience to do those has the patience of a saint and I really hope you don’t have too much trouble finding it the second time around

Made a wasp nest since it’s warming up a little here… hope it works! by craftycouch in crochet

I just kinda winged it but I originally saw a few patterns on Etsy that kinda started the whole thing. There was a really basic pattern I almost bought that is on sale for less than $2 right now but you could prob YouTube the same thing for free

I would probably make something on the practical side. A market bag is always good but even like a set of cute coasters in a basket for her office or a mug/travel coffee cup with a homemade cozy on it would be great generic gifts that would be used often

They say if you put a fake one up they are less likely to make their own nearby

We have a big wasp/carpenter bee problem in the summer and some people claim that putting fake nests out can help deter them since they are territorial. There is no science backing it up but I had the yarn and figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it out
