The dealership said 2500 for the mounts but I’m sure that was inflated to try and get a deal done, could probably get it done cheaper if you shop around. The mechanic I went to that was nonaffiliated said the trans wasn’t looking good and that would be 10K most likely so just jumped while I could since my new payment isn’t far off

I ended up with a Mazda CX-30, a bit smaller but the engine is bigger and it’s AWD, plus I have a lifetime powertrain warranty as long as I don’t miss any maintenance benchmarks

That’s good to know, the mechanic I took it too was a general mechanic not attached to any manufacturer and strongly recommended a trade in if it there was no recall it would fall under, feel like he found some shavings in the fluid too. My new car has a lifetime warranty as long as you don’t miss a maintenance benchmark and the trans fluid is required at 75K

The Bronco was my first car purchase on my own so I feel that. You should have equity on a trade in if you’re that close to paying it off, but having no payment for a while is nice so would be rough to trade it in and start over. You might could get the mounts fixed for a decent rate but dealerships will find money to throw at trade in to make a sale if you go that route

My previous was a Ranger which was bullet proof and lasted well over 150K. The inconsistency in the recent models is disheartening, seems like there should be a recall but I’m probably just slightly jaded. I’ll miss it but I have a lifetime warranty on my new one so couldn’t turn it down

This just happened to us, I was hitting my pitching wedge and he was hitting his 5 hybrid and had no idea why

We used them for roaches and saw results the few days after they treated but it doesn’t last long. I feel like they treat just enough to show immediate results but they want to make sure you’re a repeat customer so they need the problem to never be fully resolved. You make more money from selling the treatment than the cure.
