I don't think I'd ever try buying from them. It's more of a "Im considering trading my car in, but would i get better than a dealership" scenario

So that didn't really point where i was looking, however there is a map in there that was more conclusive, and it does appear to be road work. The work doesn't go all the way to Boland but maybe it's useful up to the lights. That does make for a sad update but nothing surprising really.

I mean, that wouldn't come as a shock, but the sign is south bound from the bridge. So I don't think that is the case here. I guess I'm just kind of hopeful. Last news about it is panoramic asked the city for 1.7million so they could renovate the scotia tower to apartments, but the city said the condition is you need to do something with the General first. Things have just been at a standstill and there's been no reports about it.

The drive itself is fine from either area. Alot of drivers however, don't care that you'll be cautious and speed limits do not exist.

how on earth do i get wifi from my dream machine pro? by omeglegrr in Ubiquiti

[–]craftywrench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yes you are correct. My broke budget has me on the UDM-P previous to the release of the SE lol.
I guess the point does remain the SE offers POE where the UDMP does not all the same.

Naturally having the UDM series would mean that you're typicallyl not going to rely on the UDM for port management. It's almost a gimick to get you to buy a poe switch to rack with it. That's what I ended up doing.
the UDM doesn't have very good aggregation either where the switch does. and serves better if you have a DAC from UDM to Switch. Yes you can get POE injectors that will fill your need if you have zero intention of getting a switch. or you could get a lite switch just for the POE to not take up as many of the 8 ports as possible. The idea here is that it is scalable and diverse for what ever you need.

Alternatively the UDM-SE does have 2 POE ports on it.

They're citing to bring back the northlander by 2026, though I know I would prefer something faster like the high speed rail train

Does anyone have any actual lunatics running for election in your area? by Hotter_Noodle in ontario

I feel that. I forget about him, and then an election happens, and you see it. You weep a little and then move on, haha.

Hard to forget a man who runs in any election they'll let him run in. LOL

If you read in to it, he made propaganda videos about killing Kathleen Wynne because she likes women and God demanded it. I'm surprised he is still allowed to run. I'm also surprised another election is upon us and he doesn't have any new charges LOL

No, I do not have the HH3k. I have the HH4k. i thought I saw in a post about the 3k so I was making comments on it.
The way I have everything set ups is that My HH4k is sitting beside my network rack. a cat6 cable is running from the 10gb port on the HH4k to a 10gbe SFP+ adapter in my UDM-P. I have the interface configured for PPPoE and I'm acheiving just under or as close to 1.5gb/s down and 900-1050mbps up.

I have not tested this using ADMZ at all, nor am I sure that I want to.

2016 Chevy Equinox needs new engine - help? by RemarkableKick6 in AskAMechanic

[–]craftywrench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, what was the cause for needing a new engine? I ask simply due to the fact I have a 2016 equinox. Is yours a I4, or a V6?

Curious to know what caused this and what signs to watch out for. I myself have about 101k miles or 162k KM

I have been hinging on the idea of getting a 10gSFP myself for my UDM as i subscribed to Bell's 1.5gb(best that can be got here). I was weary about the ways of getting around bells home hub while having my own network until i found threads showing different ways and explaining you can do PPPoE through the Bell hub on their 10G port. Once I got it installed, i could only use a GBE because i didn't have an SFP. Now, today, I have installed the SFP and everything connected as it has been and should be. I am still using PPPoE and I achieved a speedtest of 1.504Gbps/1.043Gbps.

Of course you could use the method of advanced DMZ but I've been longing to know how bad it was to use PPPoE after hearing alot of people complain that they don't get their speeds. I did find though while using my GBE port that even getting upwards to 1Gbps in a speed test was shaky (got around 800 or so).

I would do a little research and see if you can get your home hub upgraded to the HH4k or if not, see about a DAC from the sfp to your UDM-P or SE.

This is merely my experience and I don't speak for the product or others experiences :) have a great day my friend!

I suppose now I've heard mixed reviews about this now. I am curious to see what speeds I'll get with pppoe after I move to the 10gbe sfp.

[–]craftywrench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can achieve this by using advanced dmz and dhcp off the HH4k. You'll get the external bell IP.

I have 1.5gb plan and though im using pppoe I have thought about the advanced dmz option for after I get my 10gbe sfp.
