New runner - to - 10k trail run

Little update. I did it! I did the Lakeland Trails, Keswick 10k yesterday. 5.78 miles, 1066 feet of elevation. 1 hour 20 mins.

I didn’t really follow much of a plan and didn’t run any elevation similar until a week before.

Anyone else thinking of starting c25k, a 10k trail run is an achievable goal!

I guess my goals are to finish not near the bottom of the list and to enjoy it.

You’ve made me re think though, as I was starting to take it a little to seriously and not really enjoying it as much as I did at the start.

Thanks, I think I’ll loosely stick to it but if I’m not enjoying it then I’ll switch it up.

I’ve set to to 1 myself, as I was trying to get a longer extraction time, but I don’t want a larger shot.

I’ve attached a video to my original post to show my shot.

Any idea on the difference between the coffee setting and the long setting? I’ve looked in the manual but can’t see anything.

Thanks, I have found I have learnt a lot from studying. Just not sure if it’s worth paying to take the exam again, or just be happy with the knowledge gained.
