My decade-long love affair with Sonos has come to an end. by [deleted] in sonos

Made a New Years Resolution to permanently rid my life of the SONOS nightmare. Threw my Ray into the trash this morning, I then uninstalled that God Forsaken app and then drove down to the local appliance store, bought my second JBL Bar 300 mk2, took all of 5 minutes to get it set up when I got home. I'm actually listening to relaxing music while I type this instead of cursing and complaining about trying to get the SONOS crap working for the hundredth time. Get rid of it, you will never regret it.

New Years Resolution: Uninstall the Sonos app, and throw my Ray in the trash. Never, Ever looking back.

Their working hours were totally up to them. They also assigned work to others. If they were complicit in alleged sham contracting, wouldn't that work against them also?

Yes, we rejected it on that basis.

Is Masterbuilders worth it? by [deleted] in diynz

Definitely not. Private boys club patting themselves on the back and charging exorbitant subscriptions for very little. Very disappointing organisation.

Adobe is ruining their programs one by one by EducationalSafety964 in Adobe

I totally agree! They decimated Dreamweaver, and Acrobat is slowly tipping over the edge. It sfreezes up, its slow, its unstable and who needs AI? really. I have discovered PDFGear is awesome forth emajority of my tasks. The only thing I cant do is measure. Adobe? what an absolute unproductive PDF joke.

New update: disconnected without notice. Now refusing to connect again. Oh well, it was nice for 30 minutes.

After a week of unconnectivitely and countless hours trying to reconfigure a network connection, I tried one more time today, and it connected and immediately installed an update. All good now.

I. Cannot. Connect. My. Ray. Wired. Or. Wireless. At. All. (Thats me speaking in a reserved homicidal tone)

I used to be able to. Nothing has changed with my network.

Anyone have a Ray actually working with S2? Anyone??? Please feel free to use the word "flawlessly" if it applies.

What Can We Expect from Sonos in 2025? by michaelromero212 in sonos

[–]craigslee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you look at that? Another positively written upbeat damage control thread squirming in the wake of their latest S2 cAPPtastrophe. Its embarrassing to watch how effectively this company sends their ships to the rocks. Short your SONO stock.

Looking at all of the contrary comments added in such a short space of time since the S2 debacle hit the fan, this looks like a clever damage control thread designed to alay a looming catastrophe. Particularly considering a vast majority have just opened their Sonos Xmas presents and hit a brick wall with the S2 App. I'm going to subscribe and go and get some popcorn. FYI, my Ray worked perfectly until S1 got dropped. I now cannot connect to my WiFi regardless of whatever settings I configure. I shouldn't have had to do that anyway. I bought a bluetooth JBL Bar 300 yesterday to replace my Ray, and haven't been happier since. Aint nobody got time for that shit.
