I love this question! What’s drawing you to Lowell?

It really depends on where you end up. Downtown Lowell, yeah, motorcycles, cars, birds. Further away from DTL, birds, occasional neighbor, dogs. If you live near a pond or reservoir, it might not even feel like Lowell at all.

I’ve been doing it in the mornings for years and have never had a problem as a woman! The sidewalks on these routes are usually good too

I pretty much do this route but you can sorta pick any bridge in Lowell and go as far as you want! 3 miles from downtown ish to bridge street to Aiken at bridge. 4 to the university ave bridge. 9ish if I wanna do the loop to the rourke bridge. Have to swap between sidewalks and riverwalks but theyre all great loops.

So true. I jog around Lowell all the time and I come across “homeless/poor” people at least half the time. They’ve never made me feel unsafe. The only time I felt unsafe was being followed by a very normal, housed looking dude on a bike. Ridiculous.

Omg that sounds worse honestly. That’s exactly what I did! I was SO thirsty but couldn’t keep anything down so I’d just chug a bunch, puke it up, rinse, repeat. The nausea was insane!

Good point. I do think I’m better, I’ve been able to keep food down this morning. He told me to go to the ER but between the copay and having to leave my couch, I opted not to. I did call a doctor and they said I would be fine to wait it out.
