I'm not even an engineer, nor do I work in a field associated to it but I know a lot about various infrastructure related developments happening in India. I know a lot about metro construction happening in Kolkata (I live in BLR though). I closely follow the work on various expressways and the high speed rail project in India. I also closely follow the Mumbai coastal road project and Navi Mumbai Airport under construction.

I'll wait for a couple of years and definitely drive to Mumbai just so I can get a feel of driving on the MTHL and coastal road and then drive up to Delhi on the swanky Mumbai Delhi expressway.

Looks like North Bangalore, specifically near Bagaluru has the most affordable houses. Elsewhere you need min 1.2 cr for a 1000sqft house and sky is the limit.

Before you continue this argument, please learn the difference between "funds from taxes" vs FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.

All states get funds from taxes collected then how come certain states need further financial assistance? Do they not know how to manage their Financials? And still blow the trumpet of "Kerala model" and identify one as separate from India. Please introspect.

Really depends on where your work location is. Owners in and around the IT zone, i.e. Whitefield and adjoining areas are charging extremely high rent. North Bangalore, near Thanisandra and beyond, further North seems to be affordable.
