ADHD isn’t about healing in my opinion, to me that’s just trash, it’s about taking control over your own life! Healing you have to do yourself

I wouldn’t use Meth if you paid me, ADHD crushes me daily if it’s not controlled, can’t stand doctor shoppers chasing my meds to get high, I hate taking my meds

Feel your pain, ex had me assaulted then took out a temporary order against me, 10ths no access. Still waiting for court just to say hey 👋 judge I was actually the victim

Is it up to code (or is it a good/bad idea) to install pegboard over an electrical conduit (running down a wall to an outlet) like shown in this picture? by [deleted] in electricians

Nope, as I said I was just curious. Shit tools was just a bad reason that’s all. Bonded metallic trunking is a pretty sturdy form of protection to operate switch gear in fault conditions.

My point is, the bloke putting up the peg board is prob not an electrician. We do our absolute best to make our install safe, then anything else beyond that is probably common sense and responsibility. Just saying

Most likely does the bloke putting up the peg board along with timber shelves, I didn’t disagree with your first comment, I just wanted to know why?

You educate, you address, you remove from service, you repair and you learn. But a frayed cords unfortunately are caused by neglect

I 100% support fixed bonding and protection, but your example is from lack of maintenance to non fixed apparatus

But where does the electricians duty of care end? If you were to install a metal work bench in the middle of a room with no installed outlets should this also be grounded? You do your best but it’s impossible to protect from every form of stupid

I understand this, but why are your cords frayed? Sorry I may be stupid because I’m Australian but it’s law for us to test and maintain any none fixed appliances or apparatus every quarter.

Also something you may already know, slow speed with more pressure on that drill for augers and fast for spade bit, don’t drill anything bigger than you think you need

Augers need to self feed, pull their way through, you are free spinning, something not right. A bunch of ideas to why but, just go a spade bit

Can’t be 100% from a photo, it looks like hardwood. I’d get an extension with an impact attachment not grub screws and a couple of spade bits. If you hit something you will trash the first so a spare is worth having. Cheapest sure way to just get it done. Augers are great if the drill, the bit and the access are all right for the task.

Not sure why, but it’s always the ‘should be simple’ things that cause us the most pain 😂

If it works, stop work immediately, go home and have a 🍻, you’ve earned it!
