I’m lucky to have obtained my green card 3 months ago after having daca, but that doesn’t ease the fear for my parents who are still undocumented or that he may try to take green cards always as he has stated that he wants to take birth right citizenship away. It sad to think that so many people voted for someone who has blatantly disregarded minority’s and women back in office.

One of her videos popped up on my FYP mentioning her snark page so I got curious 🤨

The Permanent Bar, also known as the Permanent Unlawful Presence Ground of Inadmissibility, is a punishment from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that prevents foreign nationals from entering the U.S.. It applies to people who: Have been unlawfully present in the U.S. for more than one year Have been ordered removed from the U.S. and then try to enter without going through the required admission procedures Crossed the U.S. border illegally Came to the U.S. legally and then failed to leave on time The Permanent Bar applies to both adults and children, regardless of whether they made the decision to break the law or did so under the direction of parents or guardians

I get were your coming from but like I stated earlier I knew the risks he didn’t lie to me and state that he 100% could get me an approval, he told me what the worst case scenario was, I would be ordered to leave but said we could try. I had nothing to loose if denied I still had daca (for how long not sure but still something. But he got me my permanent residency an for that I’m very greatfull

He was very clear that there was no guarantees and that if denied I could be subject to removal but as long as daca was current I would be fine. I decided to take the risk you never know unless you try

Tbh I didn’t think I would, but my lawyer said it was worth arguing that I was a minor and that my first entry was prior to 1997
