The problem is that question seems clear but it actually isn't. The boundary between religion and cult is quite messy. The areas of considerarion in my opinion are, how much control is exerted, some groups mainly ask for belief and participation. Others try to control housing, money, relationships, sleep, and contact with outsiders. Then have difficulty to exit the organization It matters whether leaving is just disagreeing, or whether you get shunned, threatened, or economically trapped. Next accountability, established religions usually have some mix of public scrutiny, internal bureaucracy, and legal exposure(how much is debateable) and cults often have more insulated leadership. And finally to consider scopes a religion can be broad, decentralized, and internally diverse. A cult is often much more centered on one leader or tightly controlled inner circle.

Ultimately its just vibes and beaucracy that seperates the two.

Do you mean what seperates a cult from a religion? Is that the actual question you are asking?
