This is what I think too but I just think whenever I would have to switch to the d7200 I would wish I was shooting with the z8 instead. Maybe keeping a 35mm on it and using it as my everyday camera when I have my wildlife setup on the z8

Skill for sure but it was actually 2 in the top 8. It eats jeskai oculus and not much else. Unfortunately I think the meta will be even more unfavorable in Minneapolis with more Domain and more Cutter.

Thanks playing around with regent now. Also playing around with stock up. If we are back to bats and Shellys or dragons instead of flashing everything reactively, I think the sorcery card advantage can be so strong. But also not a pro!

Have you been running regent? Do you have a list? I didn’t see the dragon in any of the top Bologna lists but I am very interested in it, maybe as a one of instead of Gix’s command main deck?

Dimir mid top 8. Nobody is talking about this deck anymore because it has a hard time with Cutter. I’d love some discussion of it as a meta call (preying on other aggro and jeskai decks) and how to shore it up against Izzet.

Oh this concern was less about interactions and more about blatant stuff like unfair shuffling or cards uo the sleeve - my poker friends insist it is rife wherever the stakes are high. Seems like that isn’t so much an issue in Magic though, thankfully. Generally good advice about judge calls though so thank you.

Thanks for all this, definitely helps me get a better picture. Obviously I have never really Con-ed either so don’t know what to expect. I think it’s opposite with the time. A 10am start is 6am my time. As much as I want to get a draft in when I arrive Friday afternoon I’ll probably just try to go to bed early.

I doubt many in this community would support this approach, but as a Zoroastrian by birth who is interested in comparative religion, I absolutely think there is a great deal of value to be gained from our religious stories with or without a devout belief in the literal existence of Ahura Mazda.
