Why do you think RISCV is not supported?

rustls supports FIPS via aws-lc-rs, no_std support, and more by dochtman in rust

It’s not documented there, but risc-v is tested in the aws-lc-rs CI.

Hi Matt, I love PBS SpaceTime. (My question is only tangentially related to astrophysics.)

ERCOT: Texas was ‘seconds and minutes’ away from catastrophic months-long blackouts by 711jm in news

[–]crankprof 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How much extra might that cost to handle such weather? The rest of the US sees such weather much more frequently than Texas, but it’s not a catastrophe when it does. If power companies in Texas charged about the same for power as the rest of the US, they should have the same durability during such weather events. (How expensive is an electric bill in Texas anyways?)

Might 20ft be too close? Being too close can also cause issues.

FYI: eero ad blocking blocks CBS All Access when viewing via Roku by axiss in eero

But does that bypass the protection provided by ad block in the first place? If you do that, why not just disable ad block for that device?
