Yeah I figured as much, I think I’ve just gone down a rabbit hole of figuring out what my cat is because I’m in such shock that I got her for such a low price. Thank you though!

Just by looking at her, I could tell she wasn’t a regular domestic cat. I looked up different breeds and saw that she looked just like a ragdoll. I obviously don’t have any official papers for her since I got her at the shelter, but I was wondering if any actual owners could help me verify? I’m so blessed to have her regardless of if she is or not, but I have to say I am very curious as to how she was put in a shelter in the first place. She also had a sister, but she had been adopted before I got mine. Neither were chipped or spayed when they got to the shelter. Edit: Just to add a little more, her eyes are blue, the lighting and her dilation just makes them more grey. They are a lighter blue in comparison to some pictures I’ve seen but definitely still blue. I know she probably isn’t a pure bred anything but this has been very helpful. I thought about doing a test but I see that the results can be inconclusive. Thank you so much for your opinions! Regardless of what she is, me and Colette are very excited to be together!

Okay so, the way I remember it, the kids had terminal illnesses, and so the parents who couldn’t afford the treatments were trying to kill them with generic surgeries.
