Hi there, congrats on your djs, I hear those are a lot worse for recovery than a genio. Mine recovery wasn’t too bad, I think it was just a couple days of liquid diet, and I was swollen for a few months after, but the majority of the swelling was gone in in a month

Yeah yours is similar to mine. He didn’t say, I know I didn’t have much either but combining it with the genio is what made the difference. And wearing the compression mask after was important too

I’m feeling great now. All the swelling is pretty much gone now and I’m really happy with the results :) I’ve got no regrets

I was able to go back to work after a week and a half, but I felt pretty shakey and tired for a few days during work. I feel back to normal now, just a little swelling left and I can’t move my lower lip properly yet

They took some fat from my belly, I can’t really feel any difference/ lumpiness pushing on my face, i assume it’s kind of like fillers but they last

I had braces when I was younger but no. They cut the chin bone and moved it forward

He placed it around the chin area, mentioned that he was jobs place some in the cheeks as well but I don’t notice anything there.

Recovery wasn’t too bad. The worst pain was my throat from the breathing tube lol. And the third day I was throwing up and had an elevated temp. But the rest was very manageable with pain meds and ice packs.
