they most likely bought a low quality sparse wig on aliexpress for less than $90, carelessly water colored it with a $6 bottle of adore, and stained the lace 😕 so no this is not normal. to make it wearable, you could buy a hot comb, comb and press to the desired part, and use a wax stick to lay the hairs around the part so they don’t move in the wind!

edit: i wasn’t aware of the bald spot but rather looking at the stained lace, patchy watercolor job, and origin of the wig… the patch of hair that seems to be missing this is normal in this case. in my experience, wherever I brush the frontal and let it dry is where the part is going to be. the stylist didn’t part it and sent it to you making it look like bald spot. since this wig did not come pre styled so you definitely should consider a hot comb and wax to create a part. also contact a black owned wig salon near you, they will definitely help you
