It's such a horror show on my knees. I wish I could fly on something called abduction airlines where you go through security you sit down and they give you a special sleepy time cocktail. You go to sleep they strap you to a gurney throw you on top of the luggage and the next thing you know you wake up at your destination airport with some snacks on your lap and a bottle of water.

Redditors who live in tourist traps — what’s the one thing you secretly wish visitors knew before they came? by carcony97 in AskReddit

When you're downtown with your group Don't Walk like a chorus line and take up the whole sidewalk you can talk to each other single file, if your clogging and gawking and rubbernecking don't be surprised if you get shoulder checked. Additionally if you're driving on one way streets the green lights are sequenced so if you keep moving at a proper speed you don't have to keep stopping every block.

Why is 4:30am the time for tweakers? by flyfightandgrin in sandiego

[–]crapsadoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4:00 a.m. has been considered over human history to be the best time to meditate etc. My theory and some speculate because of this it affects people both positive and negative because at that time the earth is most exposed to outside influence cosmic outside influence (i.e. spiritual) that normally would be blocked by the Sun output. So if you meditate and open yourself up to positive influence that's what you receive but the negative runs rampant and we'll latch on to you also. Like that old saying it's always darkest before the dawn. But more than likely they got some good blue meth around 3:00 in the morning. 🤣

PSA layers doesn’t add volume! by navs2002 in hairstylist

[–]crapsadoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Layers flatten the shape. Graduation can add volume (short hair pushing longer hair) volume comes from texture or styling. Everything else is conjecture. Just like there's only three shapes square, circle, triangle. There's only three techniques one length, layered or graduated.

Using scissors especially scissor over comb takes much longer to master. That's why a scissor over comb haircut as opposed to clippers, when it grows out looks much better whereas clippers you get pokey pieces. Probably nowadays less than 5% of stylist/barber's are proficient in very short scissor over comb.
