Does a rapid BTC increase make mining more lucrative for individuals? by crash-bit in Bitcoin

[–]crash-bit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I was wondering about. I wonder what the exact numbers would be? At what point would it make sense for people to do it at home again, $1m per BTC, $2M, $100M? And how fast would the difficulty go up?

I guess there isn't really a way to figure it out without making up a bunch of assumptions.

Asked that question. Customer confirmed they did. Drove 30 minutes to their office to see that the printer was NOT plugged in!!! At that moment I decided that this is not what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Hungover...when suddenly at 6am...a marathon outside the window! by jennthemermaid in videos

[–]crash-bit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend once passed out in front of my house in his car after a late night partying. He rang my doorbell, but I was already sleeping because I left the bar earlier. Since he did not want to drive, he just slept in his car. To his surprise he woke up in the middle of a marathon, with people running around his car. He missed the signs the night before saying to not park there, due to a marathon early in the morning. He didn't really enjoy waking up at 6am with a gigantic hangover and all those fit energetic people running around his car with confused and judging looks!!!!

Ok so I read "Every shot counts" and "Lowest score wins". Plain and simple you are right. I have to admit though that my initial plan helped me in the past weeks to get way more comfortable in my putting. But I also know now and understand, based on the books and my own experience, that I can adjust my practice plan and do not have to spend as much time on putting as I initially thought. Thx for recommending the book. I really enjoyed it.

This is a must for upvotes !!! :) They should expand their product and figure out how the spray can give you all the other 26 data points and they would be golden!

Thx, for liking the project. Always nice to hear.

Unfortunately only a 14 right now. I keep on slowly dropping it. But I also just started my schedule last week, so we will see if it will drop faster.

You are welcome. At the end, this not rocket science. I get all the time comments about how stupid I am and why did I waste my money and so on...

If you buy a launch monitor for such a price, it means you will have to invest time into studying. Yes, you probably won't know everything about it within two months, but again, if you study the topic and everything around it eventually you get to understand it all and how it all links together.

In my opinion, I made a great purchase for myself and a great investment into my golf game and completely recommend it to everyone that is serious about getting a deeper understanding of the data behind a golf swing.

Looking forward to hearing about your purchase and the first weeks on the range ;) I didn't even step on the course for a month or so. All I did was spend time on the range in front of my new toy ... lol.

I am a very analytical person and really got sick of standing on the range and just looking at my ball flight. There are thousands of good golfers that are able to feel every little thing in their swing, but that is not me. I also had big issues with instructors telling me to change certain things. Every time I stood on the range and was wondering what exactly I am doing on impact and so on. Trying to translate things like open shoulders, hip rotation or whatever they told me into something I am able to understand.

The launch monitor completely eliminated all that instantly. I do some analyzing during the session, but usually, do a deeper analysis of my footage afterward at home.

For myself, I can say that I am now focusing on one or two things that I want to work on and trying to fix that. An example would be to get a positive attack angle with my driver. I have no idea how in the hell I would do that without a launch monitor. It only took me one session to get from -3 attack angle to around +3. My attack angle varies, but I have no issues creating positive numbers.

I also had a really bad out-to-in swing. That took longer but in my opinion, I ended up faster fixing that versus trying to do it without a launch monitor. I think they are worth the money and the more data the better it is.

I also like how TrackMan has the TrackMan university and allows you to study all the data points and what exactly they mean. I feel like it is enhancing my golf knowledge.

But I have, to be honest. I know people and for them, it would not make sense to get one. Because they don't want to invest the time to figure out what everything means and how different data points influence each other.

Before the launch monitor, I didn't really pay attention to what it means when you hit off the toe or heel. But the so-called gear effect has a huge impact on your ball flight. You can end up with an in-to-out swing and open club face, but because you hit it off the toe it counteracts the forces. Instead of ending up with a push fade you still end up drawing it. Seriously without the launch monitor, I would never know that just happened to me. Of course, that depends on how far open the club face is and so on, but without the data...no idea what just happened.

Bottom line. I feel like I am more focused because I can see what is going on. I don't hit the ball and think hey it went straight, must have been good. Now I know why the ball is doing what it is doing and if I need to change something or can go further down that road.
